Federrath's research focuses on understanding the formation of stars in the Universe. Almost everything we know about the Universe comes from looking at the stars. The formation of stars controls galaxy evolution and sets the initial conditions for planet formation. To advance our understanding of star formation, Federrath develops theoretical models and supercomputer simulations of molecular clouds, the birthplaces of stars. This involves the physics of turbulence, gravity, magnetic fields, radiation, stellar feedback and chemical evolution. An essential part of this work is to compare supercomputer simulations performed on thousands of computer cores to real observations in galactic clouds. The ultimate goal of Federrath's research is to establish a model that combines all the relevant physics and chemistry to enable self-consistent comparisons with observations and to provide powerful predictions for how galaxies, stars and planets form in the Universe.

Ephraim Suhir is on the faculty of the Portland State University, Portland, OR, USA, Technical University, Vienna, Austria and James Cook University, Queensland, Australia. He is also CEO of a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) ERS Co. in Los Altos, CA, USA, is Foreign Full Member (Academician) of the National Academy of Engineering, Ukraine (he was born in that country); Life Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Society of Optical Engineers (SPIE), and the International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS); Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS), the Institute of Physics (IoP), UK, and the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE); and Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Ephraim has authored 450+ publications (patents, technical papers, book chapters, books), presented numerous keynote and invited talks worldwide, and received many professional awards, including 1996 Bell Laboratories Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) Award (for developing effective methods for predicting the reliability of complex structures used in AT&T and Lucent Technologies products), and 2004 ASME Worcester Read Warner Medal (for outstanding contributions to the permanent literature of engineering and laying the foundation of a new discipline “Structural Analysis of Electronic Systems”). Ephraim is the third “Russian American”, after S. Timoshenko and I. Sikorsky, who received this prestigious award. His most recent awards are 2019 IEEE Electronic Packaging Society (EPS) Field award for seminal contributions to mechanical reliability engineering and modeling of electronic and photonic packages and systems and 2019 Int. Microelectronic Packaging Society’s (IMAPS) Lifetime Achievement award for making exceptional, visible, and sustained impact on the microelectronics packaging industry and technology.

Elena Orlando is an Assistant Professor in Astrophysics at the University of Trieste in Italy and an Affiliated Senior Scientist at Stanford University in USA. She earned her PhD in Physics at the Technical University of Munich in Germany in 2008, where she also spent a few years as a postdoc researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics before moving to Stanford University in 2010 as a Staff Scientist. Orlando has discovered for the first time the Sun as a steady source of high-energy gamma rays. Her research projects connect cosmic rays with photon emissions at radio and gamma rays, with a particular emphasis on the Galactic background/foreground emission, cosmic-ray propagation and magnetic fields. She is an active member of several collaborations from radio to gamma-ray energies. She has been the coordinator of many science working groups within big collaborations and she leads scientific topics also for various possible missions at MeV energies. She has published more than 250 peer-reviewed articles, most of them within big collaborations, but also with a small group and as a single author. She has accrued over 40,600 citations (NASA ADS) with a total h factor of nearly 110 (Google Scholar and NASA ADS). She is also very much involved in enforcing career opportunities for early-career researchers and in communicating science to the general public.

Rickard Lundin is a Professor emeritus at University of Umea. He is also Professor and head of the Solar Terrestrial Physics program at IRF. He worked as Director, Professor, assistant director, Staff Scientist at Swedish Institute of Space Physics. He also worked as visiting professor and visiting scientist for many universities in USA, France, and Japan. He was awarded with Alfvén medal by European Geophysical Society in the year 2008 and Comadeur (French award) by Ordre du Mérit in the year 2001. He is also a Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Science since 1990. He was an Author/coauthor of more than 400 publications.

Professor Shaaban Khalil is one of the prominent High Energy Physicists in the Middle East. He is well known by his outstanding contributions to understanding of possible new physics beyond the standard model of particle physics. He is the founding director of the Center for Fundamental Physics at Zewail City of Science and Technology in Egypt, since 2012. He published more than 300 scientific papers in renowned scientific journals. His work enabled him to obtain the D.Sc. degree in 2006. His research has been widely recognised, and he has received innumerable national and international awards. He is visiting professor at the University of Southampton, since 2011. Prof. Khalil is the president of the Arab Physical Society and the founding team leader of the Egyptian particle physics group at the CMS experiment at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland.

Tiziana Di Matteo is a Professor in the Physics Department and Director of McWilliams Center for Cosmology at Carnegie Mellon University, USA. She received her PhD in 1998 at Cambridge University, UK. She was a Chandra Fellow at Harvard and a junior faculty member at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics in Germany. Di Matteo is a theorist with expertise in both high energy astrophysics and cosmology. Her interests focus on state-of-the-art cosmological simulations of galaxy formation with special emphasis on modeling the impact of black holes on structure formation in the Universe. Her research makes extensive use of high-performance computing. She has been leading an effort to run simulations of uniquely large volume and high resolution to study to the formation of the first large galaxies and quasars at the cosmic dawn of the Universe which will be investigated with the next generation telescopes. Di Matteo became a Fellow of the American Physical Society in 2014, she is the recipient of a Pittsburgh Foundation fellowship, and 2008 Award for Excellence from the Carnegie Science Center. Among other national committees, she has served on the NSF Blue Waters Science and Engineering Team Advisory Committee and she is a member of the LSST Dark Energy Science Collaboration and the LISA Consortium.

Dr. Susanna Rosi Lewis and Ruth Cozen Chair II, Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Science and Neurological Surgery and Director of Neurocognitive Research at the Brain and Spinal Injury Center. The Rosi laboratory studies how brain injury and neuroinflammation impact cognitive functions. Her work provided the first mechanistic evidence for the role of microglia in the development of cognitive deficits after therapeutic brainirradiation and galactic cosmic ray exposure.Her work advanced our understanding of charged particle-induced cognitive challenges in a sex-dimorphic manner, provided evidence for early peripheral biomarkers for identifying late cognitive deficits, and offered potential therapeutic strategies for mitigating radiation-induced cognitive loss.She discovered the role of the integrated stress response (ISR) in traumatic brain injury and aging. Her collaborative work with Walter was first to demonstrate the curative effects of ISR inhibitors in TBI-induced dementia, as well as its rejuvenating effects on cognitive brain function in aged mice

Dr. Jonathan H. Jiang is a Principal Scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology. He is a group supervisor managing a team of more than 30 scientists, engineers, associates and postdoctoral scholars. Dr. Jiang has 218 publications in the fields of Earth sciences and astrophysics. He is the recipient for two NASA Exceptional Achievement Medals for his leadership and innovation in scientific research. Most recently, he received the Edward Stone Award and the NASA Exceptional Scientific Achievement Medal for his outstanding scientific achievements and service to NASA science missions.

Anna Backerra has graduated in theoretical physics at the Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands and worked for three years at Philips Research Laboratories. She continued independently, making a search for complementary physics after the ideas of Heisenberg. To develop a way of complementary thinking she studied composition at the Conservatory in Enschede and in Saint Petersburg. After that she constructed a complementary mathematical language and applied this to physics, obtaining Twin Physics. She discovered four types of electrons, two of them accompanied by a finite magnetic space of molecular size and two by a spin particle. The surprisingly diverse results concern elementary particles, gravity, gravitational waves, nano materials, electricity and magnetism. These results are published in 12 articles, being Physical Essays (3 papers), Applied Physics Research (4 papers), Advances in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Int. J. of Nanotechnology & Nanomedicine, J. of Nanomedicine & Biotherapeutic Discovery, Nano Progress and Acta Scientific Pharmaceutical Sciences. Most of them are combined in a book (Twin physics, the complementary model of phenomena, Lambert Academic Publishing, www.morebooks.shop). Nowadays she is developing a more easy accessible way to approach current physical scientific questions by this model.

Dr. Zhong-Cheng Liang is a Professor at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. He received his B.Sc. degree of physics from Nanjing Normal University, and PhD degree of physics from University of Science and Technology of China. With over 30 years teaching and research experiences in physics and electronic engineering, he published 2 monographs, authored or coauthored more than 200 peer-reviewed articles, authorized about 30 patents, and obtained 3 grants from the NSFC. He is the fellow of the FSFRC; the members of OSA, ACS and SPIE. His research areas include optics and theoretical physics. The main achievement is the establishment of a physics theory based on the elastic particle model, which includes the theories of real-particle field, motion state, and statistical thermodynamics. At present, he focuses on investigating the motion of celestial bodies by using real-particle field theory.

Prof. Vasily Yu. Belashov, PhD (Radiophysics), DSci (Physics and Mathematics). He is an Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Main fields: theory and numerical simulation of the dynamics of multidimensional nonlinear waves, solitons and vortex structures in plasmas and other dispersive media. Presently, he is Chief Scientist and Professor at the Kazan Federal University. He was Coordinator of studies on the International Program “Solar Terminator” (1987-1992), and took part in the International Programs WITS/WAGS and STEP. He is author of 400 publications including 8 monographs. Main books: Solitary Waves in Dispersive Complex Media. Theory, Simulation, Applications. Springer-Verlag GmbH, 2005; Solitons: Theory, Simulation, Applications. Kazan, Kazan Federal University, 2016.

Rostom is a PhD candidate at the University of Chicago. He works on particle acceleration on an extended separation of scales to solve a set of problems relevant for Ultra-High-Energy Cosmic Ray, neutrino, and gamma ray production.

Graça Rocha is a Staff Research Scientist at JPL from 2009 to present. She worked as Group Supervisor of the Origin of the Universe Group and Evolution of Galaxies Group. She also worked as a Staff Scientist at Infrared Processing and Analysis Center, Visitor at Caltech, Physics, Math & Astronomy Department, and Lecturer on `Theoretical Cosmology, University of Cambridge. She also received 2018 Gruber Prize in Cosmology awarded to the Planck team and NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal for the work on Planck Data Analysis.

Joseph is a Postdoctoral Scholar in Physics at SCIPP. He received his PhD in theoretical physics from UC Santa Cruz in 2019, and his MA/BA in experimental physics from Wesleyan University in 2013.

Subhash Bose is currently a CCAPP Postdoctoral fellow at The Ohio State University, USA. His current research focus is on studying extreme and unusual types of supernova explosions, which are difficult to explain based on our present knowledge. More generally, he is interested in a better understanding of supernovae explosions by obtaining high-quality observations and performing deep analysis. He is also interested in using supernovae as cosmic distance scales, studying their interactions with circumstellar materials, and also their contribution to the formation of interstellar dust. Subhash completed his Ph.D. at Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), India, in 2015. He was a postdoc at ARIES until 2016, then he moved to China as a postdoctoral fellow at The Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics, and continued there until 2019 before joining The Ohio State University, USA. He is associated with various research projects and international collaborations, among which the most notable is ASAS-SN (All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae) collaboration, which is one of the most successful survey programs for transients making some of the very important discoveries.

Razieh Emami is currently a postdoc fellow at the center for Astrophysics, Harvard & Smithsonian. She works on a variety of different topics and at different scales. On the cosmological side, she is analyzing the cosmological Hydrodynamical simulations of the TNG to probe the galaxy morphology traced by DM, stars and gas etc, and on the event horizon scale, she is very busy to explore all sort of cool things near the event horizon of massive BHs. As a new EHT/ngeht member, she is exploring a lot of different topics near the BHs including polarimetry, imaging, model fitting etc. Before joining the CFA, Razieh was a postdoc fellow at the institute for advanced study in HK, and before that she received her PhD from the IPM from Iran. During her PhD, she got two long term fellowships, first a STEP fellow from the ICTP in Italy and then a Balzan prize from Oxford-JHU in JHU.

Macarena Lagos is a postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University. Previously, she received her Ph.D. at Imperial College London, and held a KICP fellowship at the University of Chicago. Her research focuses on connecting fundamental physics to observations, and tackling open questions in gravity and cosmology, such as the nature of dark matter, dark energy, the physics of black holes, and the information carried by gravitational waves.

Dongwook Lee joined UC Santa Cruz as a faculty member in 2014 and is currently an Associate Professor of the Applied Mathematics Department. Dongwook’s research interests emphasize developing numerical schemes of high-order Godunov shock capturing methods for computational magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) and gas dynamics using explicit and implicit time integration algorithms on large-scale computing architectures. Before joining UC Santa Cruz, he worked at the Flash Center for Computational Science at the University of Chicago as an applied mathematician. Dongwook was the leading code architect of the unsplit hydrodynamics and magnetohydrodynamics solvers in the FLASH code during 2006 ~ 2014. Dongwook received his PhD in Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computation from the University of Maryland at College Park (MD, USA) in 2006.

Prof. Ilias Fernini received a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Sciences and Technology, Houari Boumediene, in Algiers, Algeria, in 1982. He got his M.Sc. in Astrophysics from Iowa State University (USA) in 1986 and his Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque (USA) in 1991. He has about 40 years of research and academic experience in Algeria, the USA, and the UAE. He worked as an assistant professor at the University of Blida (Algeria) from 1992 to 1994, a research scientist from 1994 to 1997 at New Mexico State University (USA). From 1997 to 2015, he joined the United Arab Emirates University, where he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2002. He joined the Department of Applied Physics and Astronomy at the University of Sharjah in January 2016 as a Professor and as the Deputy General Director for Research Laboratories at the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences, and Technology.

Natalia Nazarova was born in Arkhangelsk, Russia's far north, on March 19, 1994. I graduated from high school in 2012 and enrolled at National Research Nuclear University MEPhI to begin my bachelor's degree (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute). I began my master's program at this institute in 2016. I began my Ph.D. in SISSA's at the Department of Astrophysics and Cosmology in 2018 and am still enrolled. In addition to my postgraduate studies, I was pursuing a master's degree in high-performance computing at ICTP in 2019-2020. Throughout my academic career, I've studied black holes from a variety of cosmological and astrophysical perspectives. I began by studying low-mass primordial black holes with different mass distributions and their role in the Universe's reionization and the formation of dark matter. Then I focused on modeling supermassive black hole shadows, lensing the accretion disk, and bright spots in supermassive black hole jets using Cunningham and Bardeen's semianalytic technique. Currently, I am investigating the evolution of binary star systems during their common envelope phase and the impact of this phase on the origin of gravitational wave sources from merging compact object binaries.

Prof Dr Vladimir Valentinovich Egorov has his expertise in theoretical molecular and chemical physics. Education: National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Faculty of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (1966 – 1972), Moscow, USSR. He has completed his PhD from Theoretical Department of Institute of Chemical Physics, USSR Academy of Sciences (1981), and he has completed his Dr Phys&Math Sci degree from Institute of Physical Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences (2004). He is leading researcher at FSRC “Crystallography and Photonics”, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia. Prof Egorov is working on the development of a fundamentally new physical theory ‒ quantum-classical mechanics and its applications in physics, chemistry, biology and biomedicine.

Dr. Meredith Elrod earned a PhD in Engineering Physics with an emphasis in planetary science from University of Virginia by studying the inner magnetosphere of Saturn. Dr. Elrod is a mission team scientist on the Mars Atmosphere and Volatiles Evolution (MAVEN) mission in orbit around Mars. As a principal instrument scientist on the Neutral Gas and Ion Mass Spectrometer (NGIMS) Dr Elrod has been conducting primary research on the upper atmosphere of Mars. Recent work including rapid heating of the upper Martian atmosphere from solar flares and compositional changes of the atmosphere during large scale planet encircling dust events (PEDE).

: "I currently work in collaboration between the University of Naples "Federico II" and INAF-Astronomical Observatory of Capodimonte. I am a second year PhD student. My field of research is the Low Surface Brightness (LSB) regime, focusing on the photometric detection and analysis of the spatial distribution and physical properties of the Intra Group Light (IGL)/Intra Cluster Light (ICL), thanks to the data provided by the VEGAS survey (VST Early-type GAlaxy Survey, P.I. Enrichetta Iodice). The main image of my first publication ("The diffuse light in HCG 86 from the ultra-deep VEGAS images", Ragusa et al.2021) was selected by The European Southern Observatory (ESO) as image of the week, in July 2021. During my master thesis, I worked on the detection of the " protocluster " systems centered on QSO at very high redshift Universe, using the data from the ALMA telescope. For this project I won a special mention as a part of the "Magini prize", in 2019.”

Marina Cortês is currently founding a new scientific field, Biocosmology. It is the first bridge connecting cosmology and biology, scientific areas which were previously disconnected though lack of a common mathematical framework and tools, between the two up till now. Biocosmology allows us to see life through the lens of black holes, dark energy, and dark matter. It is the first quantification, ever, of the value of our planet before the vastness of the cosmos.

Bohua Li is an assistant professor in the School of Physical Science and Technology at Guangxi University, China. He received his PhD in 2017 at the University of Texas at Austin. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Tsinghua University. Bohua is a theoretical cosmologist. His research interests span various topics in cosmology, including dark matter, structure formation, cosmic reionization and primordial gravitational waves.

Gianpaolo Bellini Emeritus Professor at the Universita’ degliStudi of Milan and Emeritus scientist of the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN). Previously, He was a NATO fellow at the École Normale Supérieure d'Orsay -France (1966-1967); Libera Docenza (License to teach at the Universities) (1967); Full Professor at the Università degliStudi ofMilan (1976); CERN Fellow (1984-1985); Guest scientist at CERN, at IHEP at Serpukhov (Russia), at theFermi National Laboratory (Ill., USA), at Gran Sasso Laboratory (Italy). He has been awarded with the international price Bruno Pontecorvo. He is a member of many physical societies.

Sambaran Banerjee is a theoretical astrophysicist, a researcher, and a project principal investigator at the Helmholtz-Instituts für Strahlen- und Kernphysik (HISKP) and the Argelander-Institut für Astronomie (AIfA), University of Bonn, Germany. His main research activities involve physics of dense stellar systems and numerical simulations.

Tania Regimbau an astrophysicist and director of research at the French national center for scientific research (CNRS), working in the field of Gravitational-Waves, and member of the Virgo collaboration. My main goal in the next years will be the detection of the GW background formed by all the unresolved compact binaries in the Universe, and then, with third generation detectors such as Einstein Telescope or Cosmic Explorer, its subtraction to observe the background from cosmological origin below.

Rami Ahmad El-Nabulsi holds a PhD in Particle Physics, Mathematical Physics and Modeling from Provence University (currently Aix-Marseille University), France and a diploma of advanced studies in Plasma Physics and Radiation Astrophysics from the same institution. He worked with different worldwide research departments in UK, South Korea, China, Greece, Thailand, India and he is currently affiliated to Chiang Mai University, Thailand. He is the author of more than 280 peer-reviewed papers in peer-refereed reputed journals and a reviewer for more than 100 scientific journals. His research ranges from applied mathematics to theoretical physics including nonlinear dynamical systems, space physics, physics and chemistry of solids, superconductivity, plasma MHD, neutronics and nuclear reactors, superconductivity and magnetic materials among others.

Grigorios Panotopoulos is currently a staff member at the Physics Department of Universidad de la Frontera, Temuco, Chile, and he holds a Ph.D. on Theoretical Cosmology from the University of Crete, Heraklion, Greece. His research lies at the interface between phenomenology and formal mathematical physics. His main interest is the use of theoretical developments in understanding the real world. He is particularly interested in physics of the early universe, alternative theories of gravity and dark matter-dark energy interaction. One of his main goals is to understand the basic properties of dark matter and modifications of gravity computing their impact on the properties of more standard and less conventional compact objects, such as white dwarfs, neutron stars, and strange quark stars.

Salvatore Cielo got his Ph.D. in 2015 at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy, then developed a background as researcher in Computational Astrophysics at the Institute d'Astrophysique de Paris, where he mainly investigated the role of Active Galactic Nuclei in the evolution of galaxies and galaxy clusters. In 2018, Salvatore moved to the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ) in Garching by Munich, in the Computational X Support division, where he engaged in activities of high-level support to computational researchers, code optimization and -in collaboration with vendors- testing of the latest products and solutions in High Performance Computing (HPC). In the LRZ Astro- and Plasma- Physics Lab ("AstroLab"), he coordinates the communication and the efforts in shared research projects with german and international researchers in Astrophysics. Salvatore's activities in the field of Scientific Visualization, in collaborations with LRZ's Virtual Reality and Visualization Centre, have been showcased and obtained recognition in international conferences.

Huanyuan Shan obtained his PhD at NAOC in 2008. Afterwards, Huanyuan spent several years as a postdoc in Peking University, Tsinghua University, EPFL and Bonn University, then he joined in Shanghai Astronomical Observatory as a research professor since 2018. His research focus on weak and strong gravitational lensing.

Ginevra Favole focus research on the galaxy clustering and weak lensing cosmological probes to understand the formation and growth of the structure structure in the Universe, and hopefully contribute to unveil the nature of dark energy. My ultimate goal is to connect, in a self-consistent way, the dynamics of the large-scale structure with the complex physical mechanisms of galaxy formation and evolution at intra-halo scales. To this purpose, I combine high-resolution N-body cosmological simulations and semi-analytic models of galaxy formation and evolution with SHAM and HID techniques to analyse galaxy data from past/ongoing (VIPERS, SDSS, SDSS-III/BOSS, SDSS-IV/eBOSS, DEEP2, CFHTLens, DECaLS, DES, HSC-SSP) and near-future (DESI, Euclid, 4MOST) surveys. As a result, I generate high-fidelity mock galaxy catalogues which are used to obtain the covariance matrices and errors on the clustering and lensing measurements. From these covariances, I also infer tight constraints on the cosmological parameters that govern the Universe. By combining different galaxy populations, the so-called “multi-tracers”, over wide cosmological volumes, we are able to beat cosmic variance reducing the errors on the current cosmological parameters to sub-percent precision.

Marcelo Lapola holds a Ph.D. in Cosmology and Astrophysics from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA), in Brazil. His research is focused on extended gravity models, complementary to General Relativity, applied both to the standard cosmology (ΛCDM model) and to astrophysical models for stars and wormholes. His most recent work shows the emergence of spacetime in 4 dimensions, with all the cosmological parameters of our universe, and matter as a geometric manifestation of an empty Riemannian manifold with vacuum energy associated with it. In this model, it establishes a unique expression for an Equation of State that evolves in time and describes all the eras of the Universe (Radiation, Matter, and Dark Energy).

Dr. Paulina Karczmarek is a postdoctoral researcher at Universidad de Concepción, Chile, having obtained a PhD in astronomy at the Astronomical Observatory of Warsaw University, Poland, in 2019. Her research is devoted to improving the calibration of the extragalactic distance scale within the Araucaria Project. Paulina explores how binarity among standard candles, like Cepheids and RR Lyrae stars, affects distance determinations based on period-luminosity relations. In her research she uses three main methods: she conducts astronomical observations in top-class Chilean observatories, creates synthetic populations of binary stars, and models particular binary systems with pulsating stars.

Patrik Čechvala has done his PhD and Master in Astronomy and Astrophysics at Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovak republic. He has completed his interships in many countries like Spain, Austria, Belgium and Czech Republic. He worked as supervisor of the astronomical amateur club for children. He has been awarded with “Winner of the Student science conference“in the year 2016 at Comenius University, Bratislava. He is also a member in many socities.

Larissa Santos a professor at the Center for Gravitation and Cosmology in the University of Yangzhou, China. I got my PhD in astronomy at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" in 2012. From 2017 to 2019, I was an associate researcher at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). I am a member of the Ali cosmology polarization telescope (AliCPT), designed for the cosmic microwave background (CMB) studies and of the Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAO) from Integrated Neutral Gas Observations (BINGO) radio telescope, which aims the observation of the 21-cm line corresponding to hyperfine interaction of the atomic hydrogen. For the BINGO telescope, I lead the component separation team and I am a member of the scientific management of the experiment. I have a published book, which was finalist of the Jabuti Prize in Brazil 2017 in natural sciences. Besides working on the CMB and 21-cm research, I actively work on the dissemination of science and astronomy education in Brazil.

Michel Aguena is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Laboratoire de Annecy de Physique des Particules, having obtained a PhD in physics at the University of Sao Paulo (USP) in 2017 and postdoctoral research at Laboratorio Interinstitucional de e-Astronomia (LIneA). Is a member of the Dark Energy Survey (DES) with buildership status, a full member of the Vera Rubin Legacy Survey of Space and Time's Dark Energy Science Collaboration (LSST-DESC) and one of the founding members of the LIneA association. Michel works with galaxy cluster science in photometric surveys, from detection to mass calibration and cosmological constraining.

Claudio Maccone is an Italian SETI astronomer, space scientist and mathematician. He was awarded the “Giordano Bruno Award" by the SETI League in the year 2002. he was appointed Director for Scientific Space Exploration by the International Academy of Astronautics in Paris, France. He obtained his PhD at the Department of Mathematics of King’s College London in 1980. He then joined the Space Systems Group of Aeritalia (later called Alenia Spazio S.p.A. and now Thales Alenia Space Italia S.p.A.) in Turin as a technical expert for the design of artificial satellites, and got involved in the design of space missions. He has published 136 scientific and technical papers.

Hamid M.K.AL-Naimiy is a Professor of Astronomy and Astrophysics at University of Sharjah. Woohyun Chung is a research fellow at the Center for Axion and Precision Physics Research (CAPP) of the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) in Korea. He received a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh in 1995 and participated in the High Energy collider experiment, CDF at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory as a research scientist of the University of Wisconsin-Madison until 2012 before moving to CAPP. He is currently overseeing the axion dark matter search experiment, called CULTASK (CAPP's Ultra Low-Temperature Axion Search in Korea), which is a next-generation axion search experiment that employs multiple superconducting magnets and dilution refrigerators. His main research interest is to speed up the axion dark matter search utilizing the state-of-the-art quantum noise limited Josephson Parametric Amplifiers for minimizing the RF receiver chain noise and superconducting resonant cavities for enhancing the axion conversion power, and expanding the search for higher mass ranges.

Jann Zosso is currently doing his PhD at ETH Zürich (Switzerland) within the Theoretical Cosmology Group. He earned his master’s degree in theoretical physics at EPFL (Switzerland) including an academic exchange year at the University of Waterloo (Canada). The main focus of his research lies on exploring and probing the limits of Einstein gravity. This includes purely theoretical considerations such as stability tests in the language of Wilsonian EFT’s as well as direct comparison to phenomenological astrophysics and cosmology. Moreover, he is generally curious to explore points of contact between GR and QFT such as AdS/CFT or color-kinematics duality, as well as the black hole information paradox.

Fabiano Feleppa graduated in Physics at the University of Trieste (Italy) and he is now affiliated with Utrecht University (Netherlands). He recently started working on astrophysical applications of structured light fields. Indeed, even though the orbital angular momentum of the electromagnetic field has been studied for more than a century starting from the works of Maxwell, Poynting and Abraham, in more recent years it has been realized that this property of light can carry much more information than commonly believed. In particular, Feleppa’s current research focuses on observing and understanding the nature and properties of black holes starting from their observed twisted light. Very recently, together with his collaborators, he received an “Honorable Mention” in the Gravity Research Foundation Essay Competition, 2021.

Andrievsky Sergei Mikhailovich is a professor of Astronomy at Mechnikov Odessa State University, Ukraine. Eugenio Bottacini holds an associate professor position of astrophysics at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Padua (Italy). Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Padua as a "Rita Levi Montalcini" assistant professor, he was a Physical Science Research Associate at the KIPAC (Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology) at Stanford University (California - USA) participating in the Fermi-LAT collaboration. Bottacini was a post-doc at the Max-Planck-Institute for extragalactic physics in Munich (Germany). His current research interests are related to the physics of the emission mechanism in blazars and to the cosmological evolution of active galactic nuclei. Recently, he took on coordinating the science case for a to-be-proposed high-energy mission. Bottacini got his master degree from the University of Bologna (Italy), where he also participated in the ground-based calibration of the IBIS telescope on board of ESA's INTEGRAL mission as a research fellow. He earned his PhD from the Technical University of Munich (Germany).

Dmirto Doikov was born in Moldova, May 12-th 1959. He graduated in Physics and Astronomy at the Odessa State University in 1981 and obtained a PhD in Astronomy in 1989 (Back Warming Effect in Cool Carbon Stars) in Odessa Astronomical Observatory. Conducted laboratory modeling of dust formation in low-temperature plasma. Determined the structure of the size distribution function of dust particles and applied the obtained results to simulate similar processes in astrophysics. From 2005 foreign member of South Korean scientific group for investigation of interstellar accretion to stars. In November 2017 begin to study of condensation of the dust particle in hard radiation field in the SNR 1987A. In 2017 – 2020 period proposed the positron spectroscopy of Yang SN Remnants and AGN-s periphery. From 2020 investigated induce nuclearγ-ray’s spectroscopy of the peripheral AGN zone. In May 7-th 2021 defended the degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Science. In present time he is full professor of physics and head of the Department of Natural and Engineering Science in Odessa National Maritime University, Ukraine.

Renato Carlo Potenza Emeritus researcher of the CMS Experiment in CERN, Geneva. In the CMS experiment he worked up to the discovery of the Higgs boson and is still working in search of new physics signals (supersymmetric particles, multiverse, etc). Retired teacher of Neutrino Physics for graduate students of the University of Catania, Italy. Retired professor of General Physics and of Elementary Particle Physics for undergraduate students of the University of Catania, where he has been teaching for nearly fifty years, from Nov.1961 to Oct. 2010, holding many courses of lectures for students in Physics, Mathematics and Engineering. Andrzej Radosz, is a professor in theoretical physics, working at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. He started his professional career (PhD, 1982) in Condensed Matter Physics (Structural Phase Transitions), being later involved in the research in Quantum Mechanics (functional integral formalism), Statistical Mechanics (exactly solvable models) and other areas of Theoretical Physics. Recently he has been focused on the studies of classical and quantum phenomena undergoing in strong gravitational fields (exterior and interior of the Black Holes (BH)). His main achievements are associated with apath integral formalism (formulation of a semiclassical approximation, Real Trajectories in Complex Time) and the results of the studies of the BHs interior (infinite volume of BHs, the anisotropic character of the BH’s interior dynamics).

Mark Doikovwas born in Odessa, September 13-th2002. He is student of the Faculty of Physics and Engineering Technologies, University of Plovdiv “PaisiiHilendarski”, 28 Colonel DichoPetrov, 4700, Smolian, Bulgaria. In present time he investigates tracking systems for soft γ-ray detection. Develops an instrumental concept for the registration of rare weak signals from relativistic objects.The main direction of his activity at the present time is the development of hardware programs for the control of such equipment.

After the master's degree in Software Engineering in 2009, he has worked as a web developer in different web-agencies for 4 years. After, he worked as a software consultant for software houses and hi-tech startups, funding his own. Since 2015 he has worked in INAF as a software engineer, involved in the (Square Kilometre Array) SKA design phase, specialized in control software and web-technologies. In 2020 he became an INAF staff Technologist. He is actually involved as a developer in a SKA team, as a core team member in the Operational Working Group of the SKA Regional Centre, as an INAF reference person for Monitor and Control Subsystem for LOFAR 2 Station, and as a member of the TANGO Steering Committee on behalf of INAF.

Dr. Kosmas Gazeas is a Lecturer of Observational Astrophysics at Physics Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research interest is focused on stellar evolution towards merging, blazars, black holes and other exotic objects in our Universe, while he works in the field of asteroseismology, and on topics related to applied optics and astronomical instrumentation. He has an experience in astronomical image processing with the Hubble Space Telescope from Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA), USA. He also worked at the European Space Agency - ESA, Netherlands where he specialized in space technology and optics. His rich research work is reflected on a large number of research and academic assignments, while his enthusiasm for science communication and public outreach is established through talks at schools, universities and other institutes.

Dr Agueda Gras-Velazquez (Astrophysicist / Management) is the Science Programme Manager of European Schoolnet (EUN). As Head of the Science Education Department at EUN, she oversees the coordination of all STEM projects in which EUN is involved. Additionally, she is in charge of the day-to-day management of “Scientix” (the community for science education in Europe, http://scientix.eu) and the Impact EdTech cascading grant project and coordinates EUN’s Ministries of Education STEM representatives Working Group. In her 13 years at EUN, Agueda has been involved in more than 60 EC funded projects and 18 private funded ones. Prior to joining EUN in May 2008, she worked as an independent eLearning Professional, as Tutor, Content designer, IT manager, Administrator, Project Manager and Consultant for international projects. Dr. Davide Batic received the Laurea (BSc and MSc combined) degree in Physics from the University of Trieste in 1998. From 1999 to 2002 he worked as a researcher in the Department of Safety Research at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, Germany, and received a PhD in Mathematics from University of Regensburg, Germany, in 2005. He is currently associate professor at the Department of Mathematics at Khalifa University of Science and Technology in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He has many years of research experience in the areas of complex differential equations, spectral theory of unbounded operators, mathematical physics, general relativity, and differential geometry. Débora Peres Menezes is a Professor in Physics Department at Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Emanuele Dalessandro is Staff Research Scientist at the National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF - Italy) since 2016, he is member of the INAF National Scientific Committee and chair of the Stellar Population Group at the Bologna Observatory for Astrophysics and Space Science. He earned his PhD in Astrophysics at the University of Bologna in 2009, then he moved in Hawaii (USA) to work at the Gemini North Observatory as Postdoctoral Research Assistant. In 2011 he got back to Italy as Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna. Emanuele is an expert of resolved stellar populations, stellar clusters, stellar dynamics and of the interplay between dynamics and stellar evolution. He has a large recognition within the international community for his expertise in stellar photometry and accurate astrometry with the last generation of ground based and space imagers. He has an uncommon track record of achievements in his career, including a significant number of publications, citations and invited presentations as well asa remarkable amount of telescope time awarded through international competition at the main ground-based and space-telescope facilities.

Duvier Suarez Fontanella is a PhD student at the Department of Theoretical Physics of the Institute of Cybernetic, Mathematics and Physics in Havana. He does research in the General Relativity and High Energy Physics context, particularly in alternative models for collapse of scalar field coupling with gravity and matter. In combination with his supervisor, Dr. Alejandro Cabo, he has proposed the Dynamic Gravastars (DG) model as an alternative to the classic black hole in which a central singularity appears. This model is very similar to the Mazur-Mottola Gravastar but in the DG is the scalar field at its core that prevent the formation of the singularity at the origin instead the de Sitter space.

I completed my Undergrad studies at Jiwaji University, India. Then, I was a research assistant at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics between 2013-2015. Later, I received my master's degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics in 2017 from the Laboratory of Astrophysics of Marseille, France. At present, I am a final year PhD student at SISSA, Italy, where I am also a member of the QGSKY collaboration at INFN, Italy. My research interest lies in observational studies of galaxies and their Dark Matter (DM) halos over cosmic time. I am an expert in deriving kinematics and dynamical properties of galaxies from the IFU data. Currently, I established a robust framework for analysing the high redshift spectroscopic surveys, which improves upon the standard techniques that have been commonly used in the study of high-z galaxies (particularly in large galaxy surveys).

Grado Aniello a senior researcher at the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics. My scientific involvements are in the fields of the gravitational wave’s detectors and the search of the optical counterpart of gravitational waves. I am the leader of the INFN Virgo Naples group, member of the Virgo Steering Committee, member of the Einstein Telescope Steering Committee and member of the Science Board of the GRAWITA project for the search of electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational waves. Marina Vladimirovna Frontasyeva, Associate Professor, PhD in Physics andMathematical Sciences, is a graduate of the Department of Theoretical and Experimental Nuclear Physics, Physical faculty, Saratov State University. Frontasyeva is known for her research in extraterrestrial materials, medicinal plants,environmental samples (soil, Vegetation), medicinal aspects of occupational health and multi-element analysis of different organs of animals (mussels, mice, ground squirrels)and humans (bones, muscles, liver, brain, serum blood, etc). Muhammad Akashi graduated from elementary school in Reneh village as a weak student in mathematics (1985-1993). In ninth through twelfth grade, I attended Reneh High School. In ninth grade, I had a sharp transition in achievement, especially in mathematics and physics (1994-1997). I graduated from high school with very high grades and planned to study physics or electrical engineering at the Technion (IIT). I had to work a year to save money and go to the Technion and that's what happened. I started my studies at the Technion in 1999 and graduated in 2001 with a bachelor's degree. I started my master's degree immediately afterwards in the field of cosmology with Prof. Adi Nasser (2002-2004) and then I joined the group of Prof. Noam Soker and Prof. Ehud Behar in the study of planetary nebulae and X-rays emitted from them. During my PhD I attended scientific conferences as a presenter and lecturer at the conference and traveled to the United States to study a numerical program for the study of flows in astrophysics (2005-2008). During my doctorate, I won the Outstanding Doctoral Student Award from the CHE. After that, I was at the Weizmann Institute for a full year as a postdoctoral fellow in the field of super-massive black holes (2009). In 2010 I returned to the Technion as a faculty lecturer and researcher in the Astrophysics Group. My first teaching experience was at the end of my undergraduate degree when I started as a teaching assistant and that was in 2001. After that I started as a practitioner in courses given in the Faculty of Physics and from the very beginning I was an outstanding practitioner with excellent student feedback. I continued to work in teaching as a practitioner until I dared and asked the dean of the Faculty of Physics to lecture a course in the last year of my doctorate, and to my delight he responded greatly and encouraged me. I won the title of Outstanding Lecturer all the years year after year until I reached the title of Persistent Outstanding Lecturer in 2020 and that is after I won the title of Outstanding Lecturer Technion 40 times in 10 years. In addition I won in 2016 the Inspirational Lecturer Award as one of the 12 best lecturers in the country.

Nikolaos K. Spyrou is Professor of Astronomy(retired since 2011) at the Aristoteleion University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has taught extensively at both the undergraduate and post graduated levels, conducted research work and lectured in many universities and research centers in Greece and abroad, and, also, served in many national and international administrational-scientific posts. His books and research articles belong to General Relativity Theory, Fluids, Gravitational Astrophysics, EnvironnementalPhysis (and, secondarily, Space Physics, History of Astronomy, and Science Education). His recentpublished research belongs to Relativistic Cosmology combined with Thermodynamics forthe polytrophic Universe, with its radical, observationally verified consequences and predictions.

Ziad Sakr received his PhD in Cosmology from the IRAP institute in Toulouse late 2018 and is currently an adjunct professor at St Joseph University in Beirut. He is/was also member of Dark Energy, Cantata action and Cobesix theoretical and observational research groups in which he was one of the main authors of the GAUSS cosmological future mission proposal for the ESA 2050 program vision. He is member of SKA survey and Euclid Consortium mission where he holds active and leading roles in Galaxy Clusters and different Theory work groups and has been awarded a Euclid Star Prize for his contribution in the implementation of the mission forecast tool and likelihood. He is also member of the national team aiming to launch the first cube satellite in Lebanon. His polyvalent researches are mainly focused on topics related to cosmology, astroparticles, fields and information theories. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge in outreach events and inspiring people to pursue their own quest for science.

Roberta Sparvoli is Associate Professor of Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy. She has dedicated her scientific activity to the research of antimatter and dark matter signals, and to the study of the nuclear and isotopic components of cosmic rays in a large energy range, by means of experiments conducted on stratospheric balloons, on board satellites and with experiments on board the two Space Stations MIR and ISS. Among the most important space missions in which she has intensely participated we can mention the PAMELA mission, in orbit on a Russian satellite from 2006 to 2016, which has revolutionized the physics of cosmic rays by bringing innovative data on antimatter and primary particle fluxes. Roberta Sparvoli is currently Italian Manager for the Chinese-Italian CSES mission. The mission conducted on board a Chinese satellite has the task of studying the variations of electromagnetic fields and particle fluxes around the Earth in connection with events of seismic activity or Space Weather events. The first of the CSES mission started in February 2018 and is currently flying. The second will start in 2023.

Roberto Mignani was born in MIlan, August 3rd 1964. He graduated in Physics at the University of Milan in 1990 and obtained a PhD in Astronomy in 1995. Since 2015 he is University Professor in Physics. During his career, he worked as a postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute fur Extraterrestrische Physik (Garching) between 1996 and 1998, where he also took part to the calibration of the XMM-Newton telescope. Thereafter, he has been astrophysicist at the Space Telescope European Coordinating Facility (1998-2000) where he contributed to the building of the GSC-II, the largest optical sky survey before Gaia, and at the European Southern Observatory between 2000 and 2006, where he was Instrument Operation Scientist for the VLT. In 2006, he moved at the University College London as Research Associate, where he was presented with the Robert Boyd’s Award for Outstanding Scientific Achievements (2007). Since 2013 he is working at the National Institute for Astrophysics in Milan. His main fields of interest are compact objects, high-energy astrophysics, time domain astronomy, multi-wavelength surveys. He has been member of the scientific board of several space missions, among which the most recent ones are Theseus (ESA) and e-XTP (CAS), and is affiliated scientist of the NASA’s Fermi Collaboration.

Sergei P. Roshchupkin is a Professor of Department of Theoretical Physics, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. He is also Senior Research Worker Head of Department of Quantum Electrodynamics of Strong Fields at Institute of Applied Physics, NASU. Associate Professor, Head of Department of General and Experimental Physics at Sumy State University. He is a Honored Scientist of UA. His research areas are mainly on the topics of Quantum electrodynamics, laser radiation etc.

Xiaofeng YANG did his PhD study at Shanghai Astronomical Observatory (SHAO), Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS),then got the PhD degree from Univ,CAS in early 2012. After a short postdoc at Nanjing University, he spent more than three years in Europe, Nice University in France and Sapienza University of Rome in Italy, respectively. In late 2016, he joined Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory(XAO),CAS as a full professor, then he got the full support of CAS Pioneer Hundred Talents program.His main research topic is cosmology, both on theories and observations, such as gravitational lensing, constraints on cosmic acceleration and cosmological parameters.Currently, he is an individual active IAU member and he is working on Hubble constant tension.

Mohammed Ali Hassan Mohammed El-Lakany has done his B.Sc. Special Physics from Tanta University in 2004 and Diploma in Radiation Physics from Ain Shams University in 2006. He also completed his Preliminary M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics from Cairo University in 2009. He also published his research work in many journals globally. He is awarded with Certificate of Excellence in Reviewing in various journals.

I completed my undergrad studies at the University of Kinshasa, D. R. Congo. Then, I was a Lecturer at the same university between 2001 - 2015. Later, I received my master's degree in Applied Mathematics in 2018 from the University of KwaZuluNatal, South Africa. After that I began my PhD studies in the same university under the supervision of Prof Sunil Maharaj and Prof Rituparno Goswami. At present, I am a doctoral researcher in the Astrophysics and Cosmology Research Unit, School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. I’m doing research in the General Relativity. I study the role of the Weyl tensor in general relativistic fluid motion, including spacetime shear.
