Prof. Shen Zexiang is Professor of Physics. He is Associate Dean for interdisciplinary research, Graduate College, Nanyang Technological University. He is also Co-Director, Centre for Disruptive Photonics Technologies. He also holds a joint appointment at School of Materials Science and Engineering. His current research work involves spectroscopic and theoretical study of graphene, 2D materials and hybrid perovskites using ultra Low wavenumber Raman spectroscopy, photoluminescence and time resolved spectroscopy in combination with high pressure and low temperature. His other research direction is electric energy storage using graphene composite materials. He is winner of NTU Nanyang Award for Research and Innovation, Gold Medal for Research Excellence by Institute of Physics Singapore, Honorary Professor of Moscow State University. He is a Global Highly Cited Researcher with more than 42,000 citations and H index 101.

David J. Moss is Director of the Optical Sciences Centre at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, since 2016. He was with RMIT University in Melbourne, 2014-16, the University of Sydney 2004 - 14 and was a senior manager and scientist with JDS Uniphase in Ottawa Canada from 1998-2003. From 1994-98 he was a Senior Research Fellow with the Optical Fiber Technology Centre at Sydney University prior to which he was a visiting Scientist with Hitachi Central Research Laboratories in Tokyo, Japan,1992-94. From 1988-92 was with the National Research Council of Canada in Ottawa. He received his PhD from the University of Toronto in Physics and BSc from the University of Waterloo. He won the 2011 Australian Museum Eureka Science Prize and Google Australia Prize for Innovation in Computer Science. He is a Fellow of the IEEE Photonics Society, the OSA (now the Optica Society) and the SPIE (International Photonics Society). His research interests include optical microcombs, integrated nonlinear optics, quantum optics, microwave photonics, optical neural networks, optical networks and transmission, 2D materials including graphene oxide for nonlinear optics, optical signal processing, nanophotonics, biomedical photonics for cancer diagnosis and therapy, and other areas.

Professor Bingqing Wei received his Bachelor’s degree (1987), M.S (1989), and Ph.D. (1992) in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He is currently a Tenured Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and serves as Director of Center for Fuel Cells and Batteries at the University of Delaware, USA. Dr. Wei was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and Center for Computation & Technology at Louisiana State University from 2003 to 2007. He was a Research Scientist at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, and Rensselaer Nanotechnology Center from 2000 to 2003. Dr. Wei was a visiting scientist at Max-Planck-Institut für Metallforschung, Stuttgart, Germany in 1998 and 1999. From 1992 to 2001, he was a faculty member at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Dr. Bingqing Wei’s research interest and expertise lie in nanomaterials and nanotechnology. His research interests have been focusing on the synthesis, processing, characterization, and physical properties of carbon nanostructures, carbon nanotube nanocomposites, and applications of carbon nanostructures in energy conversion and storage devices. He has published more than 360 papers in refereed international journals and is among Highly Cited Researchers from Clarivate for his research on nanomaterials that enable energy conversion and storage.

Huangxian Ju, born on Nov.10, 1964, in Jiangsu, is currently a professor at Nanjing University, the director of State Key Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry for Life Science, and vice-director of Modern Analytical Center of Nanjing University. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Nanjing University in 1986, 1989, and 1992, and then became a lecturer, associate professor, and professor at Nanjing University in 1992, 1993, and 1999, respectively. He was a postdoctoral researcher at Montreal University (Canada) from 1996-1997. He won the National Funds for National Distinguished Young Scholars in 2003 and was selected as a Changjiang Professor by the Education Ministry of China and a National Key Talent in The New Century in 2007 by China government, a chief scientist of National Basic Research Program of China by MSTC in 2009, Fellows of the International Society of Electrochemistry and the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2015. The research interests of Professor Huangxian Ju include analytical biochemistry and nano bio sensing, focusing on signal amplification and life analytical chemistry. He has published 724 papers (669 papers in SCI journals, and 445 papers in journals with IF>5), and authored 26 patents, 4 English books, 7 Chinese books, 20 chapters for 11 Chinese and 9 English books, and 6 editorial, preface or book reviews. Up to October 18, 2020, his research works have 33076 citations in SCI journals (31815 by other authors) with an h-index of 93 (Google Scholar h-index 102 with 38131 citations). Andrew Wee is a Class of ’62 Chair Professor of Physicsat the National University of Singapore (NUS).His research interests are in surface and nanoscale science, scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and synchrotron radiation studies of the molecule-substrate interface, graphene and related 2D materials. He was previously Vice President (University and Global Relations) (2014-2019) and Dean of Science (2007-2014). He was a Commonwealth Fellow as well as a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford, where he received hisreceived his DPhil (1990). He holds a BA and MA in Physics from the University of Cambridge. He is an Associate Editor of the journal ACS Nano, and serves or has served on several other journal editorial boards.

Prof. L. Q. “Rick” Wang received his PhD from University of Alberta, Canada, and is currently a chair professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering&the Biomedical Engineering Programme, the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Prof. Wang has 25 years of HKU experience in transport phenomena, materials, nanotechnology, biotechnology, energy & environment, thermal & power engineering, and mathematics, and ~2 years of industry experience in technology and IP development/management/transfer as the Chief Scientist & the Global CTO. In addition to 11 scholarly monographs/books, 5 book chapters, 38 patents, 77 keynote lectures at international conferences and over 160 invited lectures in universities/industries/organizations, Prof. Wang has published 249 papers in various prestigious Journals including Chemical Reviews, Science, Nature Nanotechnology, Materials Today, Advanced Materials, Physics Reports, Advanced Science, ACS Nano, Nature Communications, Science Advances, Small, Chemical Engineering Journal, Materials Horizons, PNAS, and Physical Review Letters, many of which have been widely used by researchers all over the world. Prof. Wang has also developed, with an international team consisting of about 100 scientists and engineers, a state-of-the-art thermal control system for the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) on the International Space Station (ISS) that ensures AMS and all its sub-detectors working at their designed temperatures ± 1 ℃ for an environment temperature variation from -40 ℃ to 60 ℃ every 90 minutes. Prof. Wang’s work has received recognition through a number of prestigious and highly-competitive awards, including 2021 Gold Medal of International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, 2018 TechConnect Global Innovation Award, 2018 Silver Medal of International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, 2017 OSA Innovation Award, and 2016 First Outstanding Achievement Award of Hangzhou Oversea Scholars, among others. His team’s research has been widely featured by local, national and international media/journals/magazines. For example, the liquid-repellent technology his team invented was rated as one of four most landmark inventions that will change everyone’s life. Thisbreakthrough enables inexpensive, commercial-scale production of fluoride-free, durable omniphobic surfaces and the world-first, super durable and super anti-pathogen coatings (achieving a 99.99999% anti-SARS-CoV-2 result, a value surpassing both the filtration rate of N95 masks that is 95%, and the inactivation rate of chemical disinfectants that is 99.9% one hour after exposure), and thus help make the dream of no more laundry/kitchen-cleaning and pathogen-worry-free come true.

Prof. Guy Le Lay, now Emeritus Professor at Aix-Marseille University in France, graduated as an Engineer at the School of Mines in Nancy (France) in 1968.In Marseille (France) he got two Doctorates, one doctorate in Engineering (1972), and the second one in Physics (1977) at the University of Provence. For a number of years, he was a Member of the National Committee of all French Universities. He has been the French PI of the European Collaborative Project “Two-Dimensional Nanolattices”. Presently, he is especially working on new synthetic Xenes: silicene, germanene, stanene, and plumbing, graphene’scousins; he pioneered the synthesis of silicene (2012) and germanene (2014) in Marseille;nextplumbenewas realized in 2019 in Nagoya, Japan, with Prof.JunjiYuhara. He is also an expert in Synchrotron Radiation, serving for eight years as a member of theEuropean Round Table on Synchrotron Radiation and Free Electron Lasers. He has also collaborated with the European Space Agency and the NASA as co-PI of the Mercuric Iodide Crystal Growth experiment inside the First International Microgravity Laboratory (IML-1) onboard the Discovery shuttle, (flight in January 1992). During his career, he has chaired and organized a large number of international Schools, Workshops and Conferences and served in many UNESCO, NATO, EC, international, national and regional panels and expert committees. Recently,he was Member of the first Editorial Board of the IOP journal “Two Dimensional Materials” after other scientific journals.

Bin Zhu received his M.Sc., in 1987 from University of Sci. & Tech. of China and PhD in 1995 from Chalmers University of Technology, Physics and Engineering Physics, Sweden and during 10/ 95-12/97 worked as Postdoc. in Uppsala University (in Ångström Lab). Since 1998-2018, Dr. Zhu moved to KTH and in 1999 became senior researcher and associate professor in Dept of Chemical Engineering and Technology, and then in Dept of Energy Technology, KTH. He is visiting professor in Aalto University and Nanyang Technological University as well as in several Chinese universities to co-supervise research projects and PhD students. Since 2018, Zhu has been visiting professor in Loughborough University, UK; since 2019, lecturer professor ( chair) in Xian Jiaotong University and since 2020, chair professor in Southeast University. Dr. Zhu has more than 300 publications in nano-composites and new functional semiconductor-ionic materials for advanced fuel cells/solar cells from material to device, technology for polygeneration systems, innovations made on low temperature, 300-600°C SOFCs, electrolyte (layer)-free fuel cell (EFFC), new functional semiconductor-ionic materials, single layer fuel cells (SLFCs), semiconductor-based fuel cell (SBFC) as next generation high-efficient fuel-to-electricity conversion highlighted by the latest publication on Science (1). He has also devoted to establish frontier disciplinary of Semiconductor-Ionics for superionic conductors and Semiconductor Electrochemistry for fuel cells and other energy storage devices, e.g. solid batteries.

Peter Y. P. Chen received his B.Sc., (Chemical Engineering) and M.Eng.Sc., M.E., Ph.D. (1974)(Nuclear Engineering) from University of New South Wales, Australia. For many years, he had worked as a Senior Research Scientist and later on as a Senior Visiting Fellow in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the same university. His research interest includes mathematical modelling of engineering and applied science problems covering heat conduction, thermal stresses, fluid flow, rotor dynamics and optical fibres. He is most interested about the numerical solutions of those mathematical models with the aim to produce better designs. His latest published works on propagation of electromagnetic waves lead to the more flexible design of optical fibre for long distance transmission. The fact that such waves undergo wavelength changes proportional to distance travelled could also be used to explain redshift in starlight as observed in astronomy.

Gerard Tobias is Investigador Científico of Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC, Spain) at the Materials Science Institute of Barcelona (ICMAB). At ICMAB he leads research on “Nanoengineering of Carbon and Inorganic Materials” since 2009. He obtained the degree in Chemistry (with Honours) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB, 2000), Master in Materials Science and PhD at ICMAB (UAB, 2004) with European mention. He performed research stays at Ames Laboratory, Iowa State University (United States) and at the University of Antwerp in the Centre for Electron Microscopy and Materials Science (EMAT, Belgium). Between 2004-2009 he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford. His research interests focus on the development of carbon and inorganic based functional nanomaterials. Special emphasis is paid to exploit the synergies of both types of materials by tailored preparation of “nanocomposites” with novel or enhanced properties. Dr. Tobias has been involved in several research projects both at national and international level with research centers and industries. He was the coordinator of the Initial Training Network (ITN) project RADDEL funded by the European Commission, was also member of the European COST Action TD1004 on “Theragnostics Imaging and Therapy: An Action to Develop Novel Nanosized Systems for Imaging-Guided Drug Delivery”, and advisor “e-focus member” of the project PIPERS from Euraxess “Policy into Practice: EURAXESS Researcher Career Skills for Career Development”. He is currently leading the ERC Consolidator grant NEST (725743).

Len Gelman, PhD, Dr. of Sciences (Habilitation)joined Hudders field University as a Professor, Chair in Signal Processing/Condition Monitoring and Director of Centre for Efficiency and Performance Engineering,in 2017 from Cranfield University, where he worked as Professor and Chair in Vibro-Acoustical Monitoring since 2002. Len developed novel condition monitoring technologies for aircraft engines, gearboxes, bearings, turbines and centrifugal compressors. Len published more than250 publications, 17 patents and is Co-Editor of 12Springer books. Prof. Dr. Yarub Al-Douri is from American University of Iraq, Sulaimani. Al-Douri has gained Doctorat D’etat in Materials Science (2000), MSc in Physics (1995) and BSc in Physics (1991). He was appointed Full-Professor, Visiting Professor, Adjunct Professor, Consultant Expert, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Research Fellow (A), Scientific Collaborator and Post-doc in Iraq, Malaysia, Turkey, Algeria, Yemen, Singapore, Germany and France, respectively. Al-Douri has initiated Nanotechnology Engineering MSc Program and Nano Computing Laboratory, the first initiatives in Malaysia. Dr Azeez Abdullah Barzinjy: was born in Erbil-Iraq. He received his BSc. (Physics) and M.Sc. (Superconducting transmission line) from the University of Salahaddin-Erbil in 1998 and 2004, respectively. He completed his PhD (Materials Science) at the Materials Science centre, University of Leicester/UK in 2014. He is currently Associated Professor teaching in Salahaddin University andTishk International University in Iraq. He participated in many international and local conferences as a keynote speaker and he published many highly impact scientific articles. His current research interests include Green Synthesis of Nanoparticles, metal electroplating from novel ionic liquids and investigating their properties, solar selective coating, surface plasmon resonance and nanotechnology. He is currently supervising several master and PhD students in different universities. Dr Malek is an experienced researcher with thorough discipline in Silicon Photonics, Design, Fabrication, and Data Analysis. He is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of Engineering Council (CEng), IET and Optical Society of America (OSA). Currently Dr Malek is a faculty member at California State University, Bakersfield, California, USA. Antônio Martins Figueiredo Neto is Professor of Physics at The University of São Paulo in Brazil since 1993. Karlheinz Blankenbach has three decades of experience in displays. From 1988 until 1995 he was with AEG-MIS (a DAIMLER subsidiary) in Germany, developing display electronics, e-signage LCDs, and software. In 1995 he was appointed to full professor at Pforzheim University, Germany, where he founded the university's Display Lab. His main R&D activities are (automotive) display topics such as optical measurements, display systems, evaluations, HMI, and LEDs, as well as display hardware and software. Blankenbach is a member of the Society for Information Display’s program subcommittee, Automotive/Vehicular Displays and HMI Technologies, and a member of SID’s International Committee for Display Metrology. He has served as a member of the board of the Displayforum (DFF) since 2000; after nine years as chairman he was appointed to honorary chairman in 2020. Chaoqun Dang received her B.E. degree in 2014 from Taiyuan University of Technology, M.S. degree in 2017 from Shanghai University joint M.E. with Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology & Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and her Ph.D. degree in 2021 from City University of Hong Kong. Dr. Chaoqun Dang is currently an Assistant Professor at ZJU-Hangzhou Global Scientific and Technological Innovation Center and the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Zhejiang University. She has published 18 peer-reviewed articles and her current research focuses on the experimental nanomechanics of semiconductor materials.

Dr. Vinnakota is an Assistant professor and an Electronics Engineering Technology program coordinator at Troy University, Alabama, USA. He received his PhD in Engineering-Physics concentration from Louisiana Tech University, Louisiana, USA and completed his postdoctoral work from Computational Electromagnetism Research Lab (CERL) and Institute of Micro Manufacturing (IFM), at Louisiana Tech University. His research largely emphasized on designing and study of light coupling with nanoscale, semiconductors with direct application in novel, high speed processors and sensors. Vinnakota has published more than 15 peer reviewed papers and conference proceedings in leading journals and conferences. Huan Yuan received the B.S. degree from Southwest Jiaotong University in 2014, and thePh.D. degree from the Department of ElectricalEngineering of Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2019.He is currently an assistant professor in Xi’an Jiaotong University and published more than 40 peer reviewed artcles. His current research interestsinclude intelligent perception and system in com-plex electromagnetic environment, wireless powertransfer and artificial intelligence.

Arafa H Aly holds a doctoral degree in physics from University of Cairo , Beni-Suef branch, Egypt. Prof ArafaAly joined Cairo University,Beni-Suef branch, physics department in Januaray 1995 as an assistant lecturer of physics. He was a lecturer from 1999 to 2007, and associated profeesorfrom 2007 to 20012. In 2012 he became full professor in physics; In 2012 Professor Arafa was elected as the chair of the Department of Physics till now. Professor Arafa was apostdoctoral fellow of physics at seoul national university, South korea 2004 and 2005 in AUB,Lebanon. In 2006-2008 was a research professor in Chonnam national university in Korea. Within 2008 was a research professor in Zaragoza University in Spain. Also Prof Arafawas a research professor part time in YousefJameel Science and Technology Research Center AUC from 2009-2014. His area of specialty is mesoscopicsystems, photonic crystals, phononic crystals, metamaterials. He has a distinguished 16-year career in mesoscopic systems, photonic crystals, phononic crystals, solar energy, materials and photonics research. He has published more than 185technical papers and reports.

Mario Scuderi is researcher at the institute of microelectronics and microsystems of CNR. He got his Ph.D in Physics (2008) at the University of Catania and performed research at the Institute of Nuclear Physics (2009-2012). Since 2013 he is at the IMM-CNR for the development of techniques related to transmission electron microscopes equipped with spherical aberration correctors. He was assistant lecturer of physics in 2009-2011 and adjunct professor at the physics department (2012-2015). He was visiting scientist at the Institute of theoretical physics - Wuerzburg (Germany) and member of the PAO experiment Malargue (Argentina). His research interests mainly concern materials and device characterization with probe-corrected transmission electron microscopy, chalcogenide materials for PCRAM, iron-chalcogenide superconducting materials and metal-oxide interfaces. Piotr Martyniuk is an associate professor at Institute of Applied Physics, Military University of Technology (MUT) in Warsaw where he’s been leading the Solid State Physics Department. He received the MSc degree in technical physics at MUT (2001), PhD in electronics at Warsaw University of Technology (2008) and DSc in electronics in MUT (2015). He is author or co-author over 170 reviewed journal papers and conference publications (to include 6 invited talks/presentations). Additionally, he cooperates with industry - VIGOPHOTONICS.Within his research activities he was awardedby the Polish Academy of Science - Dean of Division Four: Engineering Sciences for the research on the “Barrier IR detectors as a new generation HOT sensors” (2016). He was awardedby Minister of Defense (President of Republic of Poland honorable patronage) for the best completed project within the defense area “ HOT IR detectors with short response time” (2017). He granted the MUT’s President award for the monograph “Antimonide-based Infrared Detectors: A New Perspective” (2019).He attended “MBE Lab familiarization program” in Solid State Laboratory, Stanford University (2014) and short research stay in Microelectronics Research Group, University of Western Australia (2015).In 2021 he was awarded with 10 months Fulbright scholarship in OSU, KIND Laboratory. The main subject of his investigation is AIIBVI - HgCdTe, AIIIBVInAsSb and T2SLs IR detectors.

Ahmed M. Hashem is a Professor at Inorganic Chemistry Department, National Research centre. He has more than twenty years of experience in the research area of materials science close related to lithium ion batteries. He was awarded his Ph.D. in the same field from Cairo University through channel system (2 years) with Technical university of Graz, Austria. His main interest is synthesis and characterization of nanaosized electrode materials for safe and rechargeable lithium-ion battery (LIBs) with high efficiency, good long life, and high specific capacity to play a critical role in today's world of mobile communications, portable electronics, and electric vehicle. Dr. Hashem has a good cooperation with international scientists in this fied as a result of more than 12 scientific missions to Germany and France. Recently he started cooperation with US through a joint international research project. Dr. Hashem was a PI for five internal (funded by NRC), two local (funded by STDF) and one international research projects. He published more than 50 international peer reviewed articles in the field of lithium ion batteries. He was awarded Misr El-Khair prize for publications in 2012 - Ahmed Reyad Tork prize awarded by National Research Centre (NRC) in 2012- Prize of Excellence awarded by National Research Center 2018. He is a board member of two international journals and a reviewer for several international journals. He took part in local and international conferences in Austria, Germany, Scotland and Portugal.

Shaimaa Ali Mohamed is an Assistant professor at Zewail City of Science and Technology, Egypt. Shaimaa joined Zewail city as a research assistant in 2012. She is then awarded the Africa-North Exchange Program (ANEX) fellowship to pursue her at Linz Institute for Organic Solar Cell (LIOS), Johannes Kepler University, Austria. After graduation in 2015, Shaimaa continued her work as a postdoctoral fellow then an assistant professor at Zewail City of Science and Technology and currently teaches different courses for undergraduate and graduate students. Her research work involves the design, fabrication, and characterization of different types of solar photovoltaic devices to post the efficiency of low-cost thin-film photovoltaic.

Mark James Jackson is the McCune and Middlekauff Professor, Graduate Faculty and University Faculty Fellow at Kansas State University. Born in Widnes, Lancashire, England, in 1967, Doctor Jackson began his engineering career in 1983 when he studied O.N.C. part I examinations and first-year apprenticeship￾training course in mechanical engineering. After gaining an Ordinary National Diploma in Engineering with distinctions and I.C.I. prize for achievement, he studied a degree in mechanical and manufacturing engineering at Liverpool Polytechnic and spent periods in industry working for I.C.I. Pharmaceuticals and ICI Chemicals and Polymers, Unilever Industries, Anglo Blackwells, BREL/Ricardo, Leyland Bus, Rolls-Royce, Rio Tinto Zinc, Unicorn International and Saint-Gobain Corporation. After graduating with the Master of Engineering (M. Eng.) degree with Distinction under the supervision of Professor Jack Schofield, M.B.E., Doctor Jackson subsequently conducted research for the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) degree at Liverpool in the field of materials engineering focusing primarily on microstructure-property relationships in vitreous-bonded abrasive materials under the supervision of Professors Benjamin Mills and H. Peter Jost, C.B.E., Hon. F.R.Eng.. He was subsequently employed by Unicorn Abrasives’ Central Research & Development Laboratory (Saint-Gobain Abrasives’ Group) as materials technologist, then technical manager, responsible for product and new business development in Europe, and university liaison projects concerned with abrasive process development. Doctor Jackson then became research fellow at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge, working with Professor John Field, O.B.E., F.R.S., and Professor David Tabor, F.R.S., on condensed matter physics and tribology before becoming a lecturer in engineering at the University of Liverpool in 1998. At Liverpool, he attracted a number of research grants concerned with developing innovative manufacturing processes for which he was jointly awarded an Innovative Manufacturing Technology Centre from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council in November 2001. In 2002, he became associate professor of mechanical engineering and faculty associate in the Centre for Manufacturing Research, Centre for Electric Power, and Centre for Water Resources and Utilization at Tennessee Technological University (an associated university of Oak Ridge National Laboratory), and a faculty associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Dr. Jackson was the academic adviser to the Formula SAE Team at Tennessee Technological University. At Tennessee Technological University, Dr. Jackson established the NSF Geometric Design and Manufacturing Integration Laboratory. He is also the Chang Jiang River Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology in China. Dr. Jackson also collaborated with Nobel Laureate Professor Sir Harold Kroto, F.R.S., editing a book on Surface Engineering of Surgical Tools and Medical Devices and a special issue of the International Journal of Nanomanufacturing on ‘Nanofabrication of Novel Carbon Nanostructures and Nanocomposite Films’. Dr. Jackson was appointed member of the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO) International Commission for the Development of the ‘Encyclopedia of Life Support Systems’ Theme on ‘Nanoscience and Nanotechnologies’, (http://mpress.ru/English/nano/index.html), and still serves in this capacity. The first edition of the encyclopedia was published 2009 and second edition published 2018. In March 2017, the degree of Doctor of Science (D. Sc.) in mechanical engineering was conferred upon Dr. Jackson in absentia by congregation for sustained contributions made in the area of mechanical engineering and advanced manufacturing over a period of twenty years. Dr. Jackson also conducts teaching and research in the area of naval architecture. In 2015 and 2020, Dr. Jackson was awarded the Certificate and Diploma in Naval Architecture from the Lloyd’s Maritime Academy, London, UK. He also conducts work on aspects of laser welding and deposition of thick film coatings in the shipbuilding process.

Shenglan Hao received her B.E. degree in 2015 from Hebei Normal University, her M.Sc. degree in 2018 from Shaanxi Normal University, and her Ph.D. degree in 2022 January from Paris-Saclay University. Her Ph.D. project is about ferroelectric photovoltaics to find novel photovoltaics materials and improve optical absorption. Shenglan Hao will do a post-doc at East Normal University, and her current research focuses on the ferroelectric photovoltaic synapses for neuromorphic computing.

Eimutis Juzeliūnas is a principal research associate and head of Department of Electrochemical Materials Science at the Centre for Physical Sciences and Technology in Vilnius, Lithuania. He worked previously as a rector of Klaipėda University (2014-2018) and a director of the Institute of Chemistry in Vilnius (2001- 2009). He was a Marie Curie International Fellow of the European Commission at the University of Cambridge, UK (2009-2011, 2013-2014), where he carried out the research on silicon electrochemistry in high temperature molten salts. He also was a Fulbright fellow at the Vanderbilt University (USA), a fellow of the American Chemical Society at the Pennsylvania State University (USA), and an Alexander von Humboldt fellow at the company DECHEMA e.V. His main research area is electrochemical materials science; current research interests are silicon electrochemistry for energy applications, environmental and microbiological degradation of metals (corrosion), physical vapor deposition of resistant alloys, and nanogravimetry of electrochemical processes.

Turgut is Assoc. Professor at Department of Basic Sciences, Science Faculty, Erzurum Technical University, Turkey. He received his PhD from Ataturk University, Turkey and he completed his postdoctoral studies at Arizona State University, USA. Yibeltal Chanie Manie received the B.Sc. degree in the department of information Science from Jimma University, Jimma, Ethiopia, in 2010, M.Sc. degree in the Department of Information Science from Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2020. Alejandro Goñi is ICREA Research Prof. at the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona, ICMAB-CSIC since 2003. He graduated in physics in 1985 from Balseiro Institute, Argentina. In 1989 he obtained his PhD at the Max-Planck Institute FKF in Stuttgart with Prof. M. Cardona. It followed a postdoc at AT&T Bell Labs in Murray Hill, USA, and back to the MPI Stuttgart for three years. In 1996 he switched to the Technical University of Berlin for an appointment as Research & Teaching Associate, where in 1998 he performed the Habilitation. In 1999 he was awarded the Karl-Scheel Prize of the Physical Society of Berlin for contributions to the field of high-pressure semiconductor physics. At ICMAB he is leading NANOPTO’s activities on high pressure physics and on hybrid perovskites as well as the development of plasmon-resonance driven hot-electron emitters for improved solar energy harvesting. His records show a total of 214 publications with about 5400/6850 citations and h=35/41 (Web of Knowledge/Google Scholar) and 1 European patent.

Prof. Qiang Li is a Full Professor and Founding Director of the Institute of Integrated Circuits and Systems, UESTC. Amal Bouich obtained the Ph.D. degree from the Universitat Politécnica de València with a Score: Cum Laude (10/10) and International Mention, carrying out her Ph.D. thesis in the field of semiconductor physics and their photovoltaic applications. In particular: the Investigation and Characterization of Hybrid Perovskites (MaPbI3, FaPbI3, CsPbI3) and Copper-Indium-Gallium selenide thin films for Tandem Solar Cells. She started her research work at the Universitat Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) in 2018 . Since then, she has developed her research activity at the same university, holding her research work at the School of Design related to Applied Physics and Optoelectronics. The research of doctor Bouich’s activity has been developed in the field of the Physics of Semiconductors, where she has published more than 34 papers in international journals and 30 oral Presentations at International Conferences. She got two excellent grants one is ‘Becas Iberoamérica Santander Investigación, Santander Universidades 2020-2021,’ and other is Ayudas a la movilidad, convocatoria “university junior international entrepreneurs” - V edición – 2019. She is the leader of the SpinOff project about tandem solar cells elaborated in IDF-UPV. She had a price from UPV ideas with the best-advanced idea project related to flexible perovskite solar cells. After getting her Ph.D., she got the award of best thesis project and Award of category the Best thesis at the EMRS -2021 Fall Meeting of the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS). Since 2018, she has integrated the research group named Group of Opto-electronics and Semiconductors (GOPS) and began research in the semiconductor laboratory at the UPV. Since then, Bouich has actively collaborated with the research group GOPS, specializing in the preparation and characterization of semiconductor thin films for optoelectronic and photovoltaic applications. Nowadays, Dr. Bouich gets her Postdoctoral position of Margaritas Salas at the University Polytechnic of Madrid with the collaboration of the University Polytechnic of Valencia, where she is supervising 6 Ph.D. students and teaching physics courses about semiconductors Materials and quantum physics; the main objectives are the realization of a new generation of solar cells based on new materials of perovskite stable, high efficiency with low-cost techniques and the consolidation of the Spin-Off to explode the know-how in this area.

Junhui Hu received his Ph.D. Degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 1997, and B. E. and M. E. degrees in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University, China, in 1986 and 1989, respectively. Currently he is a Chang-Jiang Distinguished Professor, China, and the deputy director of State Key Laboratory of Mechanics and Control of Mechanical Structures (NUAA), China. His research interest is in ultrasonic sensors and actuators, ultrasonic nano fabrication, etc. He was an assistant and associate professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from 2001 to 2010, and an R&D engineer at Tokin, Japan, from 1997 to 1999. He has authored and co-authored more than 300 publications, including more than 100 full research papers published in SCI journals, two books, 1 editorial review in an international journal and more than 60 disclosed/empowered China and Japan patents. He is the sole author of monograph book “Ultrasonic Micro/Nano Manipulations: Principles and Examples” (2014, World Scientific). He has given more than 20 keynote/invited lectures at international conferences, and his research work has been highlighted by 7 international scientific media. He served lots of international conferences as a TPC member, OCM and scientific committee member, and was the chairman of ICMCA 2016, ICEEA 2017, honorary chairman of IWPMA 2011. He is an editorial board member of four international journals, and was once awarded the title of Valued Reviewer by Sensors and Actuators A: Physical and Ultrasonics, and won the Paper Prize from the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (Japan) as the first author in 1998. Presently, he is an editorial board member of four international journals, board member of Chinese Acoustical Society and member of its academic work committee, deputy director of expert committees on electronic information materials and devices, and on aerospace materials, Chinese national think tank for materials and devices, and IAAM Fellow.

Jing Wei received her PhD from the Peking University in 2017. Thereafter, she conducted postdoctoral research at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications at 2017-2019. She is now an associate research fellow at Beijing Institute of Technology. Wei Jing has published 29 papers as the first author or corresponding author at Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem.Int. Edit., Adv. Dr. Ahmed Sabry Abdel-Rahman obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Physics department, Faculty of Science of Cairo University, Egypt. He is currently Ass. Prof. of Physics in the Cairo University and Senior researcher in Egyptian Nanotechnology Center, Sheikh Zayed, Cairo university campus, Egypt. Dr. Abderrazak Boutramine received his Ph.D. degree in solid state physics from Ibn Zohr University of Agadir Morocco (July 2018) with a very Honorable distinction. Dr. Abderrazak’s research focus is related to the Condensed Matter Physics field. Created in 1996, the Virginia Microelectronics Consortium is a group of colleges and universities including Virginia Tech, George Mason University, Old Dominion University, the University of Virginia, and the College of William and Mary that supports the microelectronics industry in Virginia and leverages the state’s diverse industry and educational microelectronics resources for mutual benefit. The objective is to facilitate industry and academic partnerships that can address the educational, training, and research needs of Virginia’s microelectronics industry and to contribute to the development of Virginia as a location of choice for the industry.

My name is "Halo Anwar Abdulkhalaq", I am from university of Sulaimani, Kurdistan region/Iraq. I earned my BSc degree in Physics from University of Sulaimani in 2009, and obtained MSc. in (gravity, Particles and Fields) at the University of Nottingham, UK. Currently, I am PhD student in the fields of (Theoretical Quantum Transports) at the University of Sulaimani. I am staff member at physics department of college of science at the University of Sulaimani since 2009.

Ayodeji Olalekan Salau received his B.Eng. in Electrical/Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria. He received his MSc and PhD degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. His research interests include research in the fields of computer vision, image processing, signal processing, machine learning, power systems engineering, and nuclear engineering. Dr. Salau serves as a reviewer for numerous reputable international journals. His research has been published in a number of reputable international conferences, books, and major international journals. He is a registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), a member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and a recipient of the Quarterly Franklin Membership with ID number CR32878 given by the Editorial Board of London Journals Press in 2020 for top quality research output. In addition, Dr. Salau’s paper was awarded the best paper of the year 2019 in Cogent Engineering. Furthermore, he is the recipient of the International Research Award on New Science Inventions (NESIN) under the category of “Best Researcher Award” given by Science Father in 2020. He is the recipient of the International Best Researcher Award given by the ISSN International Science & Technology Awarding body (IISTAC-2022) in 2022. Also, he was also awarded the best researcher award for the year 2020-2022 by the Chancellor of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Nigeria. Presently, Dr. Salau works at Afe Babalola University in the Department of Electrical/Electronics and Computer Engineering.
