Jimmy C. Yu is currently Research Professor and Emeritus Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before retiring from teaching, he was Choh-Ming Li Professor of Chemistry and Head of United College. With an H-index over 130, Professor Yu is a leading scientistin materials chemistry research. His major research interest is photocatalysis, and he holds several patents on the fabrication and application of photocatalytic nanomaterials. As a highly cited researcher, Prof. Yu has received numerous honors including a State Natural Science Award and Chang Jiang Scholar Chair Professorship. Many of his former students are holding key positions in academia and industry.

Professor Raman Singh’s primary research interests are in the relationship of Nano-/microstructure and Environment-assisted degradation and fracture of metallic and composite materials, and Nanotechnology for Advanced Mitigation of such Degradations. He has also worked extensively on use of advanced materials (e.g., graphene) for corrosion mitigation, stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion and corrosion-mitigation of magnesium alloys (including for the use of magnesium alloys for aerospace, defence and bioimplant applications). Prof Singhis a senior professor at Monash University, Australia. He is a Guest Professor at ETH Zurich, Switzerland (2020, 2023, 2024), US Naval Research Lab, Indian Institute of Science, and University of Connecticut. He worked as a scientist at Indian Atomic Energy and as a post-doc fellow at University of New South Wales, Australia. Prof Singh’s professional distinctions and recognitions include: Guest Professor of ETH Zurich, Editor of a book on Cracking of Welds (CRC Press), Lead Editor of a book on Non-destructive Evaluation of Corrosion (Wiley), Editor-in-Chief of an Elsevier and two MDPI journals, leader/chairperson of a few international conferences and numerous plenary/keynote lectures at international conferences, over 268 peer-reviewed international journal publications and 15 book chapter, and several competitive research grants (that includes 4 Discovery, 7 Linkage and one ITRH grants of Australian Research Council). Prof Singh has supervised 58 PhD students. His vibrant research group at Monash University comprises of PhD students from different disciplines (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials and Mining Engineering, and Science) as well as from different cultural backgrounds (Australian, Middle-eastern, Chinese, Malaysian, Indian, African, North American and Israeli).

Paulo C. DE MORAIS, PhD, was full Professor of Physics at the University of Brasilia (UnB) – Brazil up to 2013, Appointed as UnB’s Emeritus Professor (2014), Appointed as Guest Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology– China (2011), Visiting Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) – China (2012-2015), Appointed as Distinguished Professor at Anhui University (AHU) – China (2016-2019), Appointed as Full Professor at Catholic University of Brasília (UCB) – Brazil (2018), Appointed as CNPq-1A Research Fellowship since 2010, 2007 Master Research Prize from UnB, 2008-member of the European ERA NET Nanoscience Committee, Member of the IEEE-Magnetic Society Technical Committee, Senior Member of the IEEE Society, 2012 China’s 1000 Foreign Expert Recipient, and 2012 Academic Excellence Award from Brazilian Professor’s Union. He held two-years (1987-1988) post-doc position with Bell Communications Research – New Jersey, USA and received his Doctoral degree in Solid State Physics (1986) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais – Brazil. He graduated in both Chemistry (1976) and Physics (1977) at UnB.ProfessorMorais is member of the Brazilian Physical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers – IEEE. He has served as referee for more than 50 technical journals, takes part of the Editorial Board of more than 15 technical journals and has conducted research on nanomaterials for over 40 years. He has delivered more than 150 Invited Talks all over the World. He is known for his research in preparation, characterization and applications of nanosized materials (magnetic fluid, magnetoliposome, magnetic nanoemulsion, magnetic nanocapsule, magnetic nanofilm, magnetic nanocomposite, nanosized semiconductors, polymeric dots, carbon dots, and graphene quantum dots). With nearly 500 published papers in peer reviewed journals, more than12,000 citations and 15 patents, he has appeared in recent World ranking of top 1% scientists, such as 2020-Stanford, 2022-Research.com, and 2023-AD Scientific Index.

Michael Zharnikov received a Master degree (with honour) in Solid State Physics from the Moscow Engineer-Physical Institute in 1981. From 1981 to 1991 he worked in the RSC Kurchatov Institute in Moscow, where he received a PhD degree in experimental physics in 1989. After two post-doctoral stints with Prof. Dietrich Menzel at the Technical University Munich (1991-1994) and Prof. Jürgen Kirschner at the Max-Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics in Halle/Saale (1994-1996), Zharnikov joined the Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences at Heidelberg University (initially in the group of Prof. Michael Grunze), where he currently holds a professor position. Zharnikov has published 386papers in peer-reviewed journals, which have attracted ca. 12500 citations with an h-index of 58 (Web of Science). He also received 2 patents and gave 181 lectures, including 76 invited/keynote/plenary conferencetalks. His research interests include interface engineering,functional organic and metal-organicfilms,biointerfaces, molecular electronics,organic electronics and photovoltaics, molecular sensors, soft matter nanofabrication, membranes, electron beam and UV lithography, andmolecular structure of liquids. The group frequentlyapplies advanced X-ray spectroscopy/microscopy techniques, using synchrotron radiation facilities all over the world. Zharnikovis a member of the Editorial Boards of J. Electron Spectrosc. Relat. Phenom. and J. Vac. Sci. Technol. and of the Advisory Board of Membranes.

Prof. Yuan receive his Ph. D degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and now he works in Zhejiang University, China as an Associate Professor. His research is focused on molecular/nanoscale self-assembly and its applications in energy conversion and storage, including electrochemical/photoelectrochemical water splitting and fuel cells. He has published over 100 high-quality papers (with an h-index of 36), among which over 60 are first or corresponding-authored, 13 are published in journals with impact factors >10

Soshu Kirihara is a doctor of engineering and a professor of Joining and Welding Research Institute (JWRI), Osaka University, Japan. In his main investigation “Materials Tectonics as Sustainable Geoengineering” for environmental modifications and resource circulations, multi-dimensional structures were successfully fabricated to modulate energy and materials flows effectively. Ceramic and metal components were fabricated directly by smart additive manufacturing, design and evaluation (Smart MADE) using high power ultraviolet laser lithography. Original stereolithography systems were developed, and new start-up company “SK-Fine” was established through academic-industrial collaborat.

Dr. Ram Gupta is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Pittsburg State University. He is the Director of Research at the National Institute for Materials Advancement (NIMA). Dr. Gupta has been recently named by Stanford University as being among the top 2% of research scientists worldwide. Before joining Pittsburg State University, he worked as an Assistant Research Professor at Missouri State University, Springfield, MO then as a Senior Research Scientist at North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, NC. Dr. Gupta’s research spans a range of subjects critical to current and future societal needs including: semiconducting materials & devices, biopolymers, flame-retardant polymers, green energy production & storage using nanostructured materials & conducting polymers, electrocatalysts, optoelectronics & photovoltaics devices, organic-inorganic heterojunctions for sensors, nanomagnetism, biocompatible nanofibers for tissue regeneration, scaffold & antibacterial applications, and bio-degradable metallic implants. Dr. Gupta has mentored 10 PhD./Postdoc scholars, 76 MS students, and 58 undergraduate/high school students. Dr. Gupta has published over 270 peer-reviewed journal articles (8300+ citations, 53 h-index, 186 i10-index), made over 350 national/international/regional presentations, chaired/organized many sessions at national/international meetings, wrote several book chapters (90+), worked as Editor for many books (35+) for American Chemical Society, CRC, Springer, Elsevier, etc. and received several million dollars for research and educational activities from external agencies. He is also serving as Editor, Associate Editor, Guest editor, and editorial board member for various journals.

He has more than 30 years of experience and has visited South and South East Asian countries for research and presenting papers at international conferences. Presently he is working as a Professor at King Saud University and has worked as a faculty in Manufacturing Engineering at Government University in Malaysia. He was a Keynote Speaker for 45 International/National Conferences and Chair & Co-Chair for 14 International Conferences held in Asia, and a member of the Advisory and Technical Committee for more than 51 International Conferences across the world. He is a member of the Editorial Board/Reviewer for more than 08 international journals and has evaluated 35 Doctoral theses in Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Management. He has to his credit 2 books published by reputed publishers and authored more than 68 research papers in Peer-Reviewed, Indexed Journals, and Conference Proceedings.

Dr. Omid Akbarzadeh Pivehzhani is working with University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry as a research scientist. He used to work at Nanotechnology and Catalysis Research Centre, University of Malaya in Malaysia from 2016 to 2020. His main research area is heterogeneous catalysis and catalytic reaction engineering. He has spent 13 years in academic-industrial projects as a research officer and post-doctoral. Dr. Omid has worked 5 years in the oil and gas industry as a chemical engineer. He developed advanced smart catalysts, especially for the oil and gas industries. Dr. Omid has contributed to two PETRONAS Research Sdn Bhd industrial catalyst projects and worked on an international Airbus R&D project in NANOCAT. Currently, he is the PI of the graphene catalyst project at Hokkaido University in Japan, project member of FRGS grant in UTP and assigned to the NANOCAT center project. Dr. Omid was the Chairman, keynote speaker and organizing committee of many international conferences. He is currently the supervisor of three Ph.D. students from different countries. He has published many ISI papers; book chapters and has two approved and granted patents. Also, he has hands-on experience and passed several pieces of training on handling different types of equipment which are being widely used for material synthesis, characterization and performance evaluation. He is in close collaboration with other departments, government agencies and universities around the world. He is visiting researcher of Jiangsu University China and Hokkaido University Japan. He is a member of the society of petroleum engineers (SPE) and Senior Member of Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society. Omid awarded a full fellowship from UTP during Ph.D. and were involved for lab demonstrator and teaching in the different courses of chemical engineering. He awarded Silver Medal in 27th International Invention & Innovation Exhibition (ITEX 2016), Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in Malaysia and Silver Medal of Post Graduate Research Project in the 35th Science & Engineering Design Exhibition (SEDEX 35).

Dr. Jamarosliza binti Jamaluddin is a senior lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Chemical & Energy Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She is one of the Research Associate in UTM Biopolymer Research Group, where this research group focusses on the natural fibre, natural rubber, coating and adhesive, hydrogel, and nanocellulose. Dr Jamarosliza received her bachelor (Chemical-Polymer Engineering) from UniversitiTeknologi Malaysia in 2001 and M.SC. in Polymer Chemistry from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2006. After completing her master’s degree, she pursued her PhD studies at Dongguk University, South Korea in 2009. Due to her passion in material science, particularly in the polymer area, her main research area is focused on the Adhesives and coating; UV led curing; Nanocomposites, Graphene, Modification of Natural Fiber, Bioplastic. Currently, she has authored or co-authored more than 30 indexed publications, 5 non-indexed publications, 3 book chapters, a patent and a trade secret. In her research field, Dr. Jamarosliza is actively contribute to the projects of several research grant schemes including fundamental, exploratory, and prototype research grant schemes, as well as research university grants. Furthermore, she is truly active in collaborating with industrial companies and government agencies as a project leader and project member.

Dr. Edison E. Mojica is an Associate Professor at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) in Manila, Philippines. He has beenan educator for 20 years that provides the best learning environment by helping the learners realize the value of education through relevant and interesting modes of outcome-based education. His research areas are focused on potential renewable and clean energy as a source of electricity and further exploration of the existing technology to develop and enhance its output power; electrical energy management system; and electrical engineering education. He is a Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE), an ASEAN Engineer (AER), and an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE). He serves as Technical Committee member to numerous conferences held in Asia for couple of years now and Resource Speaker to his fellow electrical practitioners in the Philippines. In the past three years and to date, he has been serving as the Vice Chairperson for Scholarship and Academic Affairs Committee of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE).
