Alireza Baghai-Wadji is Professor Emeritus at University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa. He holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in telecommunication engineering, and the D.Sc. (Doctor of Science) degree in physical electronics from the Vienna University of Technology, Austria. He has also been honored with the D.Sc. degree in materials science and quantum physics from Aalto University, Finland. Since 2012 he has been with the University of Cape Town. He has served as ECE Program Director, chaired the EE curriculum development, and was Assistant Dean (internationalization) with UCT. He was 2005–2012 Professor, Discipline Head, Senior Member of the Platform Technologies Research Institute, and International Representative with Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, Australia. From 1997–2005 he was Associate Professor with Vienna University of Technology. He has lived on five continents and occupied senior academic, executive, and principal engineering consultancy positions, invariably promoting rigorous and creative thinking, and advocating for a system-of-systems approach to STEM development and problem solving: Distinguished Visiting Professor with BIT, Beijing, China; High-level Foreign Expert Visiting Professor with XUST, Xian, China. Visiting Professor with Aalto University, Finland; Visiting Scientist with Max Planck Institute (Quantum Optics), Germany; Visiting Professor with IHPC and Senior Member with IMS, NUS, Singapore; Visiting Scientist with UCI, CA, USA; Adjunct Professor with ASU, AZ, USA; and Director of Aerospace and Aviation Electronics Program with Sir Lawrence Wackett Aerospace Centre, Australia. He was resident Principal Engineering Consultant with Motorola, USA; CTS, USA; EPCOS, Germany; Siemens Matsushita, Austria; and Siemens, Germany. He was an award-winning Nokia Fellow. He was awarded the prestigious Austrian Kurt Gödel Fellowship three times. Since 1997 he has been an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control (UFFC). He was twice Guest Editor for the IEEE T-UFFC. He is the current UFFC-S Representative to the Transaction on Quantum Engineering. Since 2019 he has been an Associate Editor for the Applied Computational Electromagnetic Society (ACES). He has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed articles in journals and conference proceedings, and delivered more than 120 invited, plenary, and keynote speeches. He is the owner of a patent in the USA. He has instructed 33 half-day or full-day short courses sponsored by IEEE or ACES. He is credited for discovering the Discrete Taylor Transform and Inverse Transform (D-TTIT). He is Honorary Member and Fellow of Electromagnetics Academy, USA, and has been listed in Who-is-Who in Electromagnetics. He is Honorary Professor at Amity University, Noida, India, Adjunct Professor at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India, and Adjunct Professor at the Taylor’s University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is the author of three books: Mathematical Quantum Physics for Engineers and Technologists. Volume 1: Fundamentals (Sci-Tech/IET, July 2023); Mathematical Quantum Physics for Engineers and Technologists. Volume 2: Governing equations (Sci-Tech/IET, late 2023); and Discrete Taylor Transform and Inverse Transform (IEEE-Wiley, late 2023/early 2024).

Professor Mahmoud Shafik is an international scholar and expert who has made a personal distinction and international leadership recognition, in the field of Intelligent Mechatronics Systems and Digital Technology, with more than 20-years industrial applied research experience in Intelligent Systems, Industrial 4.0, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and Internet of Everything (IoE), Fly, Drive and Steer-by-wire, 3D Smart Sensors and Actuators for Autonomous Vehicle, Robotic Systems and Industrial Automation, Machine Vision, Innovation for Sustainable Engineering, Cancer Treatment using CVD Diamond Radio Therapy Technology, Information Technology for Blind and Visually Impaired people, Chronic Diseases ICT Technological Solutions, Assisted Living Technology, AD-HOC Wireless Technology, TeleHealth, Telecare, Climate Change, Electro-Rheological Fluid Micro Actuators Technology and Software Tools. Michael Panagopoulos was born in 1977 in Athens. He holds a degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Computer Science of the National Technical University of Athens. He completed his PhD dissertation at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of NTUA in the field of application of pattern recognition and image processing methods in archaeology and the arts. In particular, he has worked in the study of the style of prehistoric frescoes of Thera and in the identification of engravers of ancient Athenian inscriptions. She has taught in secondary schools, IEK Kalamaki, NTUA and Ionian University.

Paulo C. DE MORAIS, PhD, was full Professor of Physics at the University of Brasilia (UnB) – Brazil up to 2013, Appointed as UnB’s Emeritus Professor (2014), Appointed as Guest Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology– China (2011), Visiting Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) – China (2012-2015), Appointed as Distinguished Professor at Anhui University (AHU) – China (2016-2019), Appointed as Full Professor at Catholic University of Brasília (UCB) – Brazil (2018), Appointed as CNPq-1A Research Fellowship since 2010, 2007 Master Research Prize from UnB, 2008-member of the European ERA NET Nanoscience Committee, Member of the IEEE-Magnetic Society Technical Committee, Senior Member of the IEEE Society, 2012 China’s 1000 Foreign Expert Recipient, and 2012 Academic Excellence Award from Brazilian Professor’s Union. He held two-years (1987-1988) post-doc position with Bell Communications Research – New Jersey, USA and received his Doctoral degree in Solid State Physics (1986) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais – Brazil. He graduated in both Chemistry (1976) and Physics (1977) at UnB.ProfessorMorais is member of the Brazilian Physical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers – IEEE. He has served as referee for more than 50 technical journals, takes part of the Editorial Board of more than 15 technical journals and has conducted research on nanomaterials for over 40 years. He has delivered more than 150 Invited Talks all over the World. He is known for his research in preparation, characterization and applications of nanosized materials (magnetic fluid, magnetoliposome, magnetic nanoemulsion, magnetic nanocapsule, magnetic nanofilm, magnetic nanocomposite, nanosized semiconductors, polymeric dots, carbon dots, and graphene quantum dots). With nearly 500 published papers in peer reviewed journals, over 12,000 citations and 15 patents, he has appeared in recent World ranking of top 1% scientists, such as 2020-Stanford, 2022-Research.com, and 2023-AD Scientific Index.

Dr. K.W. Chew received a PhD in applied physics at the University Malaya in 2003. Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Univeristi Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia. He has more than 10 years of research experiences covering the area of power electronics, electric vehicle related research and lightning and surge protection. He has been actively involved in the research activities as a principal investigator or co-researcher. His research interest including of hybrid energy storage systems, electric vehicle distance estimation system and power electronics converters. Currently, he is actively participated in the research area of lighting and surge protection for potentially hazardous area. Dr. Chew is currently a senior member for IEEE and Chartered Engineer (CEng) for IET. Besides, Dr. Chew also a certified Huawei trainer on Data Center Facilities (DCF).

FAZEL Ziraksaz received the B.S.E.E degree from west branch of Azad University, Tehran, Iran, in 2016, and M.S.E.E degree from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran, in 2019. He ranked 1th among Electrical undergraduate students of Electronics Engineering of west branch of Azad University with GPA: 19.25/20. From 2015 to 2017, he was a member of Young researchers and Elite Club. He has been a member of Iranian Microelectronics Association since 2019. Now, he is currently Ph.D. candidate at Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran with GPA: 19.13/20. He is the author of the book “Fundamentals of Low Voltage, Low Power Integrated Circuit Design”. Now, he is writing a book about power amplifier design. He is the section editor of Insight-Energy Science journal and the reviewer of Journal of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (JEEE) and American Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering (AJECE). His research interests include RF circuits, and CMOS Integrated Circuits (ICs), and he recently studies power amplifiers (PAs) and modulators.

Philip W. T. Pong received a B.Eng. from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2002 with 1st class honors. Then he obtained a PhD in engineering at the University of Cambridge in 2005. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Magnetic Materials Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for three years. Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).His research interest focuses on the fault detection, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection of power grid. He is the Founding Director of the Green Technology Research and Training Laboratory, leading the research and education activities of offshore wind energy at NJIT. Philip Pong is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), a Fellow of the Institute of Physics (FInstP), a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM), a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (FHKIE), a Fellow of the NANOSMAT Society (FNS), a chartered physicist (CPhys), a chartered engineer (CEng), a chartered energy engineer, a registered professional engineer (R.P.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Energy), and a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE). He serves on the editorial boards for several IEEE and SCI journals.

Yun Yang received Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2017. During his graduate studies, he worked on the control of power electronics and their applications in microgrids. From 2017 to 2020, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the same research group on wireless power transfer. He was appointed as an Honorary Research Assistant Professor by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Hong Kong in 2020. From 2020 to 2022, he worked as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is now an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. Dr. Yang has been working in the field of wireless power transfer, power electronics, advanced control, renewable energy technologies, and electric vehicles. He has achieved 70+ publications, including 5 patents, 35+ SCI journal papers, and 35+ international conference papers.

Yahia CHERGUI is an assistant Professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering Institute, Boumerdes Algeria. He has completed his PhD from Badji Mokhtar University in Annaba, Algeria. He did all his PhD work in Cardiff University in UK. His research field is Physics(condensed matter, and soft matter simulation by molecular dynamics). He has many published articles and international conferences. He has been serving as a referee with condensed matter journal (IOP), Energy journal (Elsevier), and American Journal of Modern Physics.

Dr Woo has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, and he has obtained PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M. He majors in energy system such as HVAC and its heat transfer, optimal design and control of refrigerator, reliability design of thermal components, and failure Analysis of thermal components in marketplace using the Non-destructive such as SEM & XRAY. In 1992.03–1997 he worked in Agency for Defense Development, Chinhae, South Korea, where he has researcher in charge of Development of Naval weapon System. He was working as a Senior Reliability Engineer in Refrigerator Division, Digital Appliance, SAMSUNG Electronics. Now he is working as associate professor in mechanical department, Ethiopian Technical University.
