Edgar Harzfeld, Professor at Stralsund University. Studies and research in Leipzig and Zurich. Since 1996 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of Stralsund University responsible for electrical power supply and renewable energy systems. Since 2004 - 2022 numerous research projects on the subject of electrical energy storage technologies.

Dr. Yuping Wu is a full professor of Southeast University, and Fellow of RSC. He got Ph. D. degree from Institute of Chemistry, CAS in 1997, and then worked at Tsinghua University, Waseda University, and Chemnitz University of Technology (AvH Fellowship), separately. In 2003 he became a full professor of Fudan University. His research is focused on energy storage systems and their key materials. He published over 410 papers with H-index over 96 (WoS) and 9 books. His researches led to some edge-cutting technologies such as pore-free separators for lithium batteries, and aqueous rechargeable lithium batteries. He achieved quite some awards including One of the Most Influential Minds over the World in 2015 from the Most Cited Researchers by Thomson Reuters.

Hen Friman holds Ph.D. and Master's degrees from Bar-Ilan University. His master's thesis investigated the effect of Cyt1Aa on prokaryotes, and his Ph.D. research focused on energy production from aromatic chemical degradation of bacteria Using "Bio-Fuel Cells". Since 2012, Dr. Friman is research and lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering. He is currently the academic director at the Renewable Energy & Smart Grid Excellence Center at the HIT - Holon Institute of Technology. Dr. Friman developed an innovative teaching method for a "paperless" laboratory in the field of solar, wind, and water energy. He also managed the "Energy Supervisor" training program at HIT. He was part of the team responsible for developing "Pre-Project and Developing Soft Skills for Engineers" for the undergrad B.Sc. students. The purpose of the course is to define and improve the "toolbox courses" that will provide students with employability skills - Teamwork, effective management of time, risk and quality control, design excellence, and presentation excellence Dr. Friman's research interests include renewable energy, fuel cells, microbial fuel cells, water and wastewater treatment, chemical engineering, ecological education, and academic collaboration.

Philip W. T. Pong received a B.Eng. from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2002 with 1st class honours. Then he obtained a PhD in engineering at the University of Cambridge in 2005. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Magnetic Materials Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for three years. Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).His research interest focuses on the fault detection, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection of power grid. He is the Founding Director of the Green Technology Research and Training Laboratory, leading the research and education activities of offshore wind energy at NJIT. Philip Pong is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), a Fellow of the Institute of Physics (FInstP), a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM), a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (FHKIE), a Fellow of the NANOSMAT Society (FNS), a chartered physicist (CPhys), a chartered engineer (CEng), a chartered energy engineer, a registered professional engineer (R.P.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Energy), and a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE). Vasudevanpillai Biju is a Professor at the Research Institute for Electronic Science and Graduate School of Environmental Science at Hokkaido University. He assumed this position after a research career - as a scientist and a senior scientist in AIST, Japan (2004-2015), a PRESTO researcher of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST, 2010-2014), a visiting Scientist at the University of Texas at Austin, USA (2007), a postdoctoral fellow at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, USA (2003-2004), a JSPS postdoctoral fellow in AIST, Japan (2002-2003), and a research scientist at Angstrom Technology Partnership, Japan (2000-2002). He has been a visiting faculty in many universities, including in Japan, the US, and India. He has been a member of the board of studies/faculty evaluation/faculty screening/project screening committees of academic and government bodies in Japan, India, New Zealand, Chili, Taiwan, the European Union, Singapore, etc. He was a SPARC fellow of the Science and Engineering Research Board of India and an Erudite Fellow of the Bard of Higher Education, Kerala, India. His research interests include semiconductor nanocrystals and quantum dots, photo-functional molecules, nanobiotechnogy, and single-molecule techniques. His research activities are recognized with various awards by the Ozaki Foundation (Gen-nai Prize and Gen-nai Award), the Japanese Photochemistry Association, the Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Association, and the Chemical Society of Japan. He became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2011. He has beenan associate editor of the Elsevier Journal, J. Photochem. Photobiol. Manuel F. M. Costa holds a PhD degree in Science (Physics) from the University of Minho (Portugal) where he works at the Physics Department since 1985 teaching and performing applied research in optical metrology, image processing, thin films nanostructures and applications, solar energy, optometric instrumentation and science and technology education and literacy. Presented over four hundred communications in international meetings and published around the same number of scientific papers, monographs and books. Editor or member of the editorial board of several scientific and educational international journals. Chairperson of twenty-nine international conferences. He is President of the Ibero-American Optics Network, RIAO, for the term 2019-2022; President of the Hands-on Science Network, HSCI; President of the Portuguese Society for Optics and Photonics, SPOF; President of the Portuguese Territorial Committee of the International Commission for Optics, ICO, for three terms 2011-2020; Executive Committee member and Europe Regional Representative of the International Council of Associations for Science Education, ICASE; Deputy Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of the European Optical Society. Craig joined the IChemE Safety Centre as a Process Safety Specialist following almost 20 years in the offshore oil and gas industry. He has a background in instrumentation and control and facility operations. While offshore he always looked for ways to improve the safety of the facility. This led him to study a Master in Safety and Risk Management. This education, coupled with years of practical process safety experience gives him a unique outlook. He pro-actively looks for solutions for short and long-term standing issues while assessing the viability of them, ensuring that cost vs outcome is always balanced. He is passionate about process safety and interested in applying that thinking to the energy transition underway.

Dr. Akira Nishimura is an associate professor in the Division of Mechanical Engineering at Mie University, Japan. He received the B.S. Eng., the M.S. Eng., and Dr. Eng. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Nagoya University, Japan in 1995, 1997 and 2000, respectively. He worked at Center for Integrated Research in Science and Engineering, Nagoya University as research associate from 2000 to 2002. He moved to Mie University in 2002 as an assistant professor and promoted to associate professor from 2014. He has published 92 journal papers which are reviewed. His current researches are H2 production from biogas, smart city utilizing renewable energy actively, clarification on heat and mass transfer mechanism of polymer electrolyte fuel cell andCO2 reduction by photocatalyst.

Paulo Santos [ORCID 0000-0002-0134-6762] is currently Assistant Professor in Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Coimbra, Portugal. He is an integrated member of ISISE (Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering) research centre, Functional Performance (FP) research group. The main actual scientific research fields are Thermal Behaviour, Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Sustainable Construction. He is author of around 160 scientific publications, among books (4), book chapters (3), articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals (52) and papers published in proceedings of scientific conferences (96). He has around 2,000 citations and 60,000 reads on Research Gate network (Berlin), with an h-index of 22. He was supervisor and co-supervisor of 47 master and 3 doctoral theses already completed within his research topics. He participated in around 12 funded European and Portuguese research projects, being nowadays the Principal Investigator of the Tyre4BuildIns – “Recycled tyre rubber resin-bonded for building insulation systems towards energy efficiency” research project. Dr. Maico Roris Severino has a degree in Industrial Engineering - Agroindustrial, master´s, and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar) - Brazil. He is currently a professor at the Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG) - Brazil, working in undergraduate and graduate courses. Over the last 10 years, Dr. Severino has been dedicated to research relating the use of renewable energies and sustainability to operations management and supply chain management in industries (Green-Sustainable Supply Chain Management). Soshu Kirihara is a doctor of engineering and a professor of Joining and Welding Research Institute (JWRI), Osaka University, Japan. In his main investigation “Materials Tectonics as Sustainable Geoengineering” for environmental modifications and resource circulations, multi-dimensional structures were successfully fabricated to modulate energy and materials flows effectively. Ceramic and metal components were fabricated directly by smart additive manufacturing, design and evaluation (Smart MADE) using high power ultraviolet laser lithography. Original stereolithography systems were developed, and new start-up company “SK-Fine” was established through academic-industrial collaboration.

Dr. Jinsong Wu is proposer (2021) the Founder (2022) and Founding Editor-in-Chief (2022-present) for the new international journal, Green Technologies and Sustainability (GTS), co-published by Elsevier and China Science Publishing & Media Ltd., jointly called KeAi (https://www.keaipublishing.com/en/journals/green-technologies-and-sustainability, ISSN：2949-7361). Haris M. Khalid (SMIEEE, FHEA, Assistant Professor – Power Systems/Cyber-Attacks, HCT – Sharjah Campuses, UAE, Visiting Professor – University of Santiago, Chile, Visiting Senior Researcher – University of Johannesburg, South Africa) is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Higher Colleges of Technology, Sharjah, UAE since 2016. Since 2022 – Present, he is also a visiting professor with University of Santiago, Chile and visiting senior researcher with University of Johannesburg, South Africa. From 2018 – 2021, he was an active Energy Specialist Consultant to UAE Space Agency and Nano-racks for “tests in orbits” themed projects to space. He has authored/co-authored more than 90 peer-reviewed Research Publications and one Textbook. Paulo Sérgio Duque de Brito has a degree in chemical engineering, Processes and Industry specialization, in the Technical Superior Institute; has a master’s degree in “Corrosion Science and Engineering” by UMIST, Manchester University; is aPhD in Chemical Engineering,by the Superior Technical Institute in the electrochemical – on fuel cells. He has also an MBA – Master of Business and Administration. Currently, he is Full Professorof the Superior School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre (IPP). Is coordinator of the research centre VALORIZA – Research Centre for Endogenous Resource Valorization and the Coordinator of the Master Technologies for Environmental Valorization and Energy Production. Marcella Franchi joined Haffner Energy in April 2021.As Chief Marketing Officer, she promotes Haffner’s decarbonization and renewable gas technology which contributes to the roll out the energy transition. Marcella was a key player in the success of Haffner Energy’s IPO in February 2022. Marcella began her career in financial engineering at Warren &Selbert in London, where she stayed for 15 years. Initially in London, but in earnest on return to Portugal, she became a successful entrepreneur, founding and running companies in real estate and holiday rental. Marcella has a degree from the London School of Economics and a postgraduate qualification in Corporate Finance from the London Business School. She has lectured and consulted at universities in Hong Kong and Lisbon. She is on the board of the LBS Energy Club.

Christopher Koroneos is a chemical engineer. He did all his studies at the Department of Chemical Engineering of Columbia University in New York, USA, where he later was a professor and continues to be associated with the Earth Engineering Center as a Research Associate. Now he is Associate Professor having the chair of Renewable Energy and Energy Management at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia in Greece. He is also at the Unit of Environmental Science and Technology of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. He is teaching at the Interdisciplinary Programme of Post Graduate Studies ‘‘Environment & Development’’ of the National Technical University of Athens. His research interests are in Renewable Energy, Exergy Analysis, Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainable Development. He has more than 90 publications in Scientific Journals and more than 220 publications in proceedings of International conferences. He is in the editorial committee of 35 scientific journals, and he has participated in 37 national and international research projects.

Professor at the Federal University of Paraíba, in the Renewable Energy Engineering Department. She was a researcher at the National Institute of the Semiarid (INSA) where she studied chemistry of degraded soils, CO2 flux and its recovery through fertiirrigation. She worked as a postdoc at the Federal University of São Carlos, at Durham University (UK) and at Université Paris-Sud 11- France, studying photocatalytic materials. She is an expert in Energy Law and is studying the construction of the regulatory framework of renewable hydrogen in Brazil and human resources training for the sector.

Doğan Çelik received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Cukurova University, Adana, Turkey in 2013. He completed M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Yuzuncu Yil University, Van, Turkey in 2016 and 2020, respectively. His research interest areas are Power Electronics, Microgrids, Distributed generation, Electric Vehicles, Renewable Energy Systems, Power Quality.

Graduated as an Electrical Engineer in 1981 from the José Antonio Echeverría Higher Polytechnic Institute (today the José Antonio Echeverría Technological University of Havana, CUJAE), in Havana, Cuba, obtained the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in 1995, at the same institution. He has the category of Assistant Researcher at the Center for Electroenergetic Research and Testing (CIPEL) and Full Professor of the Teaching Department of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at CUJAE. Awarded the Carlos J. Finlay Order in 2020, Forjadores del Futuro Seal in 2018, National Award for Scientific-Technical Criticism in 2017, CITMA Technological Innovation Award in 2016, National Award from the Academy of Sciences of Cuba in 1993 and 2013, from the National Science and Technology Forum in 1994 and the National Award for Scientific-Technical Critics in 2017, has received other national recognitions for the results of its research, among which 5 provincial innovation awards stand out. and an award from the Minister of Basic Industry (1993) and another from the Minister of Higher Education (2014). His fundamental line of work goes through High Voltage and Distributed Generation issues, including Renewable Energy Sources (FRE) in the latter. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the CUJAE, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CIPEL and the Institute of Meteorology (ISMET), as well as has been part of the Scientific Council of the Energy and Computing Magazine of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University del Valle and the Scientific Magazine of the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico. He was a member of the Technical Advisory Council of the former MINBAS (now MINEM) for 12 years.

M. A. Martin-Luengo (MAML) presented with honours Master and phD in the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC, Spain). AsCSIC Postdoctoral Grantee,worked in UK and Belgium.In 1987-1992 was appointedResearch Fellow of the Scientific Engineering Research Council (UK)to developsynthetic fuels. Since 1992 is CSIC Permanent Research Staff, working nowadays on Sustainable development, applying concepts based on Circular Economy, use of renewable energy and Biorefinery, of outmost importance worldwide, especially for less developed countries. MAML has directed many research works,published in peer reviewed international journals, congresses, patents and general public news, and is Chartered Chemistof the Royal Society of Chemistry, Member of the American Chemical Society and Spanish Society of Catalysis, amongst others.

Rini Singh received is working as an Assistant Professor at the Graduate school of Advanced science and engineering, Hiroshima University Japan. She is currently working with Prof. Takayuki Ichikawa, Hiroshima University Japan. She has completed her Ph.D. from Banasthali University, Rajasthan India in 2019. She also worked as a Project fellow in Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, India. Currently, her major area of research is Electrochemical energy storage, all-solid-state li-ion batteries, and energy conversion. She has more than 18 research publications, book chapters in refereed and journal publications, and more than 10 conference proceedings.

Prof. Dr. Yousef FARHAOUI, is a Professorat Moulay Ismail University, Faculty of sciences and Techniques, Morocco. Chair of IDMS Team, Director of STI laboratory. Local Publishing and ResearchCoordinator, Cambridge International Academics in United Kingdom. He obtainedhisPh.D. degree in Computer Security from Ibn ZohrUniversity of Science. Hisresearchinterestsincludelearning, e-learning, computer security, big data analytics, and business intelligence. Farhaoui has three books in computer science. He is a coordinator and member of the organizingcommittee and alsoamember of the scientificcommittee of several international congresses, and is a member of various international associations. He has authored7 Book and many Book ChapterswithReputedPublisherssuch as Springer and IGI. He isserved as a Reviewer for IEEE, IET, Springer, Inderscience and Elsevier Journals. He isalso the Guest Editor of manyJournalswithWiley, Springer, Inderscience, etc. He has been the General Chair, Session Chair, and Panelist in SeveralConferences. He is Senior Member of IEEE, IET, ACM and EAI Research Group

Yhosvany Soler Castillo has a major in electrical engineer awarded by the Higher Polytechnic Institute José Antonio Echevarría, in Havana (1990 - 1995); besides, he holds two diplomate courses, the first in foreign trade at Institute of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, INCOMEX in Havana (2014), and the second one in Photovoltaic Solar Energy at the Photovoltaic Researches Laboratory - Materials Sciences and Technologies Institute (IMRE) - Faculty of Physics of the Havana University (2019). On the other hand, he has got a master´s degree in physics awarded by the faculty of physics of Havana University (2022). Currently, he is working at Aviaimport, S.A, as Specialist in Foreign Trade Sales and Purchase, as well as started from 2020, as autonomous researcher, focused in PV systems energy conversion efficiency, mathematical modeling, Physics , Electrodynamics, Thermodynamics, Optics, Semiconductor Physics, Solid State Physics , Applied Physics and Photonics. In almost three year as reseacher, he has published 2 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and 1 conference proceeding, with 2 additional ones under peer-reviewing process.

Dr. Mahnoosh Shajiee is a Lecturer at Amirkabir University. She is a scientific researcher at ACECR Sharif University.She was a Research Assistant at Ottawa University, Canada.She holds a BS, MS, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. She has a DBA degree and has experience in the area of management and futures studies. Her research is on Renewable energy, dynamometer and bioinformatics. She has worked on a novel observer for a wind turbine.She has served as a reviewer on multiple journals, including the ISA Transactions (Elsevier) and the International Journal of Dynamics and Control (Springer). She is the author and co-author of a number of scientific papers in her field and has conducted a number of student research projects.
