Haoping Wang received the Master degree on Automatic Control, Informatic Engierring and Image Processing, and on Ph.D. degree in Automatic Control and Computer Science from Lille University of Science and Technology (LUST), France, respectively in 2005 and in 2008. He is currently Professor and Ph.D Supervisor at Automation School, Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST), China. He was research fellows at Modeling Information and System Laboratory of Picardie University (2010-2011) and at Automatics, Computer Engineering and Signal Processing Laboratory (LAGIS UMR CNRS 8219) of LUST (2005-2010), France.
His research interests include the theory and applications of hybrid systems, visual servo control, model free adaptive control, friction modeling and compensation, rehabilitation and augmentive exoskeletons, modeling and control of diesel engines, biotechnological processes, PV, and wind turbine systems. He was/is the Principal Investigators and coordinators of Chinese National key R & D project of national international science and technology cooperation Project, National Science Foundation of China Projects (General and Younth), the Erasmus+/ International Credit Mobility (E+ICM) programs with France and Greece, Chinese-French project of Cai Yuanpei, etc. He has published over 190 refereed international journal (IEEE Trans. Autom. Contr., Automatica, Mech. Syst. Signal Pr., IEEE Trans. Syst. Man Cybern. Syst., J. Franklin Inst., J. Vibr. Contr., Int. J. Hydr. Energy, Adv. Eng. Softw., IEEE Trans. Aerosp. Electr. Syst., ISA Trans., Signal Pr., Int. J. Syst. Sci., Int. J. Contr., etc) and conference papers (IFAC WC, IEEE Amer. Contr. Conf., IEEE Int. Conf. Decis. Contr., IEEE Mediterranean Conf. Contr. Autom., IEEE Multi-conf. Syst. Contr., etc) in these areas, authored one book, Observation et Commande par Systèmes à Fonctionnement par Morceaux : Appilication aux Asservissements Visuels and co-author 5 chapters in books.
Prof. Wang is currently Senior member of IEEE, the Executive and Scientific Director of Sino-French Int. Joint Laboratory of Automatic Control and Signal Processing, and the deputy dean of the of Sino-French Engineer School of NJUST. He served the Co-Chair of Program Committee of the 27th IEEE Int. Conf. on Robot and Human Interactive Communication (ROMAN’2018), the Best Papers Award Co-Chair of the Int. Conf. Systems and Control: (ICSC’16), the Publicity Co-Chair of ICSC’20 and ICSC'15, the Publication Co-Chair of the 1st and 2nd IEEE Int. Conf of Systems and Computer Science (CSCS): CSCS’13, CSCS'12, Lille, the Chair of the Sino-french scientific forum on renewable energy, medical imaging and intelligent transportation at Nanjing university of science and Technology 60th anniversary 2013, and the Scientific Executive Committee of the French National Key Laboratory of LAGIS (2007-2011). Additional recent services include Invited speakers of the Int. Summer School of Automatic Control & Electrical Systems, France, Lille, 2018, the Int. Summer School on Energy Management and Fuel Cell Systems, UTBM, France, 2017, the Pre-conference Tutorial Workshop of 33rd Chinese Control Conference 2014.
Prof. Wang was invited professors of LUST (2019, 2018, 2017, Feb. 2016, June-July 2014, Mai-July 2013) and Ecole National d’Ingenieur de Metz (2019), He is currently member of Chinese Association of Automation (CAA), Committee member of DDCLS-CAA, and the Committee member of the energy Internet Committee -CAA. He is Recipient of one Outstanding award for teaching reform of Nanjing University of Technology, one outstanding award for teaching reform achievement of Jiangsu Province 2017, and one second award for national teaching reform achievement 2018. He is also enlisted in ‘Jiangsu Provincial 333 High-Level Talent Training Program’, ‘Jiangsu Provincial Project Blue: Young Academic Leader’, ‘Six Talent Peaks of High Level Talents’, and in Marquis Who is Who in the world since 2013, etc.
