Dr. Gomes has been a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner since June of 2018 who has worked in various settings consisting of seasonal, residential, outpatient, inpatient, and government facilities. Dr. Gomes treats psychiatric patients across the lifespan with complex mood and anxiety disorders, comorbid substance use disorders, dual diagnosis, eating disorders, psychosis and PTSD. Dr. Gomes has been a distinguished speaker at various conferences throughout her career and is in the process of publishing research and a memoir of her unique journey in medicine. Dr. Gomes has continued to volunteer with multiple NGO’s including the American Red Cross and Medical Reserve Corps to provide disaster medicine, including mental health support across the country since 2017. She takes pride in her second passion in life, global public health, and has volunteered in 5/7 continents since 2014, with her most recent trip to El Salvador in March 2021. Her mission is to provide preventative care and education on public health and decrease the stigma surrounding mental illness. Dr. Gomes currently works at Lowell General Hospital as a PMHNP providing inpatient psychiatric consults and evaluations in the Emergency Department. Dr. Gomes is the founder and CEO of New England Psychiatry LLC.

Samantha Hernandez, is catalyzing quality improvement transformation across all facets of healthcare delivery starting with the engagement and awareness of self with the healthcare team. She has delivered talks nationally and internationally on the importance of integrating curriculum that focuses cognitive behavior with the use of simulation in health care education. Currently she serves as the Regional Director of the Northeastern Simulation Center, Saint Barnabas Medical Center-RWJBarnabas Health. And has been honored with two prestigious awards during the pandemic. She received the 2020 Force for Change Crusader award from the Leading Women Entrepreneurs and Business Owners for creating cutting-edge innovations during the Covid-19 pandemic that paved the way for a better future for New Jerseyans and the nation. And the winner of the Health Care Professional Award, NJBIZ Healthcare Heroes Awards 2020, significantly impacts the health care industry and landscape in New Jersey. In addition to authoring articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at major scientific and nursing conferences. Her goal is to utilizing her experience to better prepare and tackle the formidable challenges facing healthcare and its incredible team.

Cláudia Mara de Melo Tavares is Full Professor of Psychiatric Nursing at the School of Nursing at Universidade Federal Fluminense, Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. PhD in Nursing and Master in Education. She coordinates the International Research Group on creativity and care in health and nursing. She develops research on the emotional dimension in the process of caring and teaching in nursing and health based on the sociopoetic method. She has more than 100 articles published in national and international journals.

He is a professor of the undergraduate course in Nursing at the Faculty UNINTA Itapipoca. Researcher and Leader of the Study Group on Advanced Practices and Technology in Nursing - GEPATE. Member of the Nursing Project in the Promotion of Maternal Health of the Department of Nursing at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). Has experience in Health Services Management and Educational, in service management, he worked mainly in the area of Tertiary Health Care and Surveillance to Health. In the educational area, he has developed work in the area of teacher training, development and curriculum assessment

Yori Gidron is a professor of medical psychology at the Dept. of nursing, university of Haifa, Israel. He studied in Haifa (BA) and later at Dalhousie university Canada (MSc, PhD) experimental health psychology. He has over 120 scientific publications, has written a book in Behavioral Medicine and is on the editorial board of 4 journals. His work includes the role of the vagal nerve in health and severe diseases and hemispheric lateralization in mental health and immunity. Health promotion via "psychological inoculation". PTSD prevention using a neuroscience-based method.

Pablo Ruiz-Palomino is Associate Professor of Business Management at University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. He earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration at this same University in November, 2008, which was awarded the 1st Prize in the 2010 (IV) Edition of FORETICA-MSD for Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility Research (International Call). Since then, he has acted as visiting scholar in a number of prestigious universities such as Bentley University, University of Arizona, IESE Business School, Alliant International University and University of Edinburgh, among others. His research interests are ethical aspects in nursing, as well as hot to foster positive attitudes among nurses and midwives in stressful situations.

Dr. Tabrizi is an Assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is a recognized geriatric dentist nationally/Internationally and teaches the impact of oral health conditions in overall health in older adults to both dental and non-dental healthcare providers. She serves as a member and a leader in multiple local/ national organizations on Gerontology/ Geriatrics. Dr. Tabrizi has published in local and national dental journals. She was invited to author a chapter on geriatric oral health for Springer Publishing titled “Management of Comorbid Medical Conditions in Elders with Dementia”-2020. She is a recognized clinician, researcher, and educator in Geriatric oral health.

Azhar Talal, B sc. Pharmacy, MPH, Senior Pharmacist, Tawam Hospital/Johns Hopkins International, Al Ain, UAE. Azhar obtained her B sc. Pharmacy degree, from the Faculty of Pharmacy, AUST -UAE,and then had her (MPH), fromthe United Arab Emirates University – UAE. She also obtained her CPPS (Certified Professional of Patient Safety) from The National Patient Safety Foundation. As well as her American board in medical quality. She worked as teaching assistant at AUST from 2001 till 2006. Shejoined Tawam Hospital in 2007 and during her tenure has gained experience in many pharmacy sections of the department, 2nd in-charge in the Polyclinic pharmacy and covered in the Material management section –Tawam Hospital. Currentlyshe is the Unit Dose pharmacy supervisor at Inpatient Pharmacy-Tawam Hospital as well as a BLS instructor at American Heart Association. Currently, Azhar is a PhD candidate in the Institute of Public Health, Zayed Bin Sultan Center for Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University, Al Ain, UAE and her area of research is Pharma cogenomics in United Arab Emirates. Azhar had published 4 papers about the implementation of genomics and pharmacogenomics in UAE, and her abstracts accepted in many national and local conferences.

Michele Giannotti is a post-doctoral researcher and a clinical psychologist in the field of child protection. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and Education and he currently works as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Trento (Italy), Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science - Observation, Diagnosis Education Lab (ODFLab). Dr. Giannotti clinical and research work focuses on parenting and child development, with reference to transition to parenthood, child maltreatment and assessment of attachment across the lifespan. He was recently awarded by the International Association for the Study of Attachment (IASA). He has delivered talks on the impact of transition to parenthood on mental health, at-risk parenting, and quality of attachment in children with typical and atypical development in national and international conferences. Dr. Giannotti has published several papers on peer-reviewed scientific journals, and he is involved in different research projects on parenting at national and international level.

Adriana Baban, PhD, Professor of Health Psychology, Psychosomatic and Behavioral Medicine at Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca; Principal Investigator in 16 International and European Health Projects in the last 10 years. Author and co-authors of 12 books; 54 chapters in national and international books; 188 articles published in ISI/BDI indexed journals. Prof. Baban has been an International Consultant for UNICEF, Doctor of the World, WHO, European Centre for Disease Control, and visiting professor at department of Community Health Sciences, UCLA, Los Angeles, USA. Her research interests include burnout, risk behaviours and health; prevention and health promotion; health care system and quality of care. She is the president of the Romanian Association of Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine. Dr. Baban was nominated in 2014 as Fellow of European Society of Health Psychology for outstanding contributions to the development of health psychology in Europe.

Dr. Laura MordilloMateos is an expert in non-invasive brain stimulation techniques: TMS, tDCS and tSMS and her research career is based on the study of the physiological effects induced by these techniques over the human brain and its application to develop new protocols and treatments to improve patients´ quality of life.Currently, she is also working on the inclusion of these techniques in the protocols carried out by the nursing staff. She is author and co-author of more than 20 scientific articles published in internationalscientific journals and with impact factor. She is also co-author of 3 book chapters and co-inventor of 3 patents.

Gørill Haugan graduated as a registered nurse (RN) in 1984, and she holds a PhD in health science. Haugan has worked as an academician since 1989 and thus educated a great number of nursing and health care students at all levels. Currently, she works as a professor in health and nursing science at NTNU Department of public health and nursing, Faculty of medicine and health in Norway, and professor II at Nord University, Faculty of Nursing and Health science. Professor Haugan is supervising bachelor theses in nursing care, along with PhD- and master-projects focusing on different aspects of nursing and global health, collecting data in Norway as well as in Nepal and Uganda. Furthermore, she is supervising assistant professors in achieving competence as associate professor at NTNU and Nord University. Haugan is widely published with more than 140 scientific publications in the field of health promotion among different populations such as older people, long-term intensive care patients, adolescents and postnatal women, as well as nursing students and health care workers. She is the main editor of three different scientific anthologies focusing on health promotion in health care. In particular, she has investigated the influence of nurse-patient interaction, self-transcendence, hope, meaning-in-life, sense of coherence, joy-of-life and spirituality on individual’s well-being and quality of life, as well as developed and validated several measurement models central to nursing and health care. Haugan leads several research projects in various fields including various populations, and evaluates research proposals for funding in Norway. She is part of several research groups and collaborates with researchers in Norway, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, Sweden, Finland, Singapore, Uganda, Nepal, Malta and USA.
