Dr. Huixiao Hong is the Chief of Bioinformatics Branch, Division of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), working on the scientific bases for regulatory applications of bioinformatics and computational chemistry. Before joining the FDA, he was the Manager of Bioinformatics Division at Z-Tech, an ICFI company, at NCTR. He held a Research Scientist position at Sumitomo Chemical Company in Japan. He was a visiting scientist at National Cancer Institute (NCI) at National Institutes of Health (NIH). He was also an Associate Professor and the Director of Laboratory of Computational Chemistry at Nanjing University in China. Dr. Hong is the member of steering committee of OpenTox, the member of board directors of U.S.MidSouth Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Society, and a member of the leadership circle of FDA modeling and simulation working group. He received Ph.D. in computational chemistry from Nanjing University in China in 1990 and followed by conducting research at Maxwell Institute in Leeds University in England in 1990-1992. Dr. Hong has more than 210 publications.

Sergey Suchkov was born in the City of Astrakhan, Russia, in a family of dynasty medical doctors. In 1980, graduated from Astrakhan State Medical University and was awarded with MD. In 1985, maintained his PhD as a PhD student of the I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy and Institute of Medical Enzymology, USSR Academy of Medical Sciences. In 2001, maintained his Doctor Degree at the National Institute of Immunology, Russia. From 1985 through 1987, worked as a Post Doc Research Associate, for Institute of Medical Enzymology; from 1987 through 1989, was a Senior Research Associate, Koltzov Institute of Developmental Biology, USSR Academy of Sciences. From 1989 through 1995, was a Head of the Lab of Immunology and Immunobiotechnology, Helmholtz Eye Research Institute in Moscow. In 1989, trained at the Lab of Immunology, NEI, Bethesda, MD, USA,, NIH and Lab of Immunology, Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia, USA, as well as at some of the British Universities on the invitation of the Royal Society for Immunology. From 1995 through 2004, was a Director of the Dept for Immunology, Moscow Clinical Research Institute (MONIKI). In 1993-1996, was an Executice Secretary-in-Chief of the Editorial Board, Biomedical Science, an international journal published jointly by the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK.

Dr. Soldin earned his honors degree in Chemistry at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa where he subsequently received his Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, and also his PhD in Biochemistry. He enrolled and obtained his boards in Clinical Chemistry at the University of Toronto and then accepted a tenured professor position at the University of Toronto in Clinical Biochemistry and Pharmacology. In 1988, Dr. Soldin accepted the position of Director of Clinical Chemistry at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and tenured Professor at The George WashingtonSchool of Medicine in the Departments of Laboratory Medicine and Pharmacology. As he was developing his tandem mass spec work, he moved to the Clinical Research Center at Georgetown University as Director of their Mass Spectrometry Core facility, where he still serves as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism. Starting 2011, Dr. Soldin became a full time Senior Scientist at the NIH Clinical Center Department of Laboratory Medicine where he additionally holds the position of a Deputy Director of Chemistry and Director Post-Doctoral Training Program and the laboratory Mass Spectrometry facility. Dr. Soldin has mentored many graduate students and over 100 post-doctoral fellows.

Dame Barbara Stocking became the 5th President of Murray Edwards College, founded as New Hall, in July 2013. In addition to Barbara’s College responsibilities, Barbara is also a Trustee of the Gates Cambridge Trust and the Cambridge Trusts, and Chair of the Faculty Board of Human, Social and Political Sciences. Externally to Cambridge she is Chair of the Trustees of Blueprint for Better Business and Chair of the Steering Committee for the Humanitarian Memorial. In March 2015, Barbara was appointed Chair of the Independent Panel of Experts to assess WHO’s response in the Ebola outbreak. The report was published in July 2015. It was widely praised and has resulted in major changes in WHO’s health emergencies planning and response. Prior to taking up the post of President at Murray Edwards College, Barbara was Chief Executive of Oxfam from May 2001 until February 2013. During this time she led major humanitarian responses. On campaigning, Barbara led Oxfam's work on Make Poverty History, and more recently their work on climate change and the current Grow campaign on food justice in a resource constrained world. Barbara regularly spoke at major global meetings, eg. Davos, World Economic Forum, UN, etc. Previously a member of the top management team of the National Health Service, in her eight years with the NHS Barbara worked as Regional Director for the South East of England, and then as the founding Director of the NHS Modernization Agency. Barbara is married and has two sons. She was awarded a CBE for health services in 2000 and a Dame Commander of the British Empire (DBE) for humanitarian services in the 2008.

Dr. Farid Menaa is an inter- and multi-disciplinary professional with worldwide reputation. He has three international post-doctoral terms in Oncology, Dermatology, and Hematology; MBA Entrepreneurship and MD candidate. During his ongoing career, he has mainly contributed to the identification and functions of new human disease-causing genes and variants, formulated natural products for anti-aging and developed innovative theranostic strategies against cancers, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity and infectious diseases. He has more than 10 years’ experiences either in the academic, hospitals or industrial sectors. As Chief Scientific Officer and Vice-President R&D at Fluorotronics, Inc. he actively participated in the development of the disruptive “Carbon-Fluorine Spectroscopy”. Dr. Menaa collaborates with various organizations worldwide. He is a member of several prestigious medical and scientific organizations and editorial boards in the field of medicine, science, technology and business, including in the nano-segment. He has authored more than 100 articles including research and review articles, books, book chapters, textbooks, proceedings, and has participated to over 200 scientific international events including as co-organizer, keynote speaker, chairman. Dr. Menaa’s worldwide collaborations, holistic point of view and strong expertise in various fields led him to prevent, implement early diagnosis, and develop efficient and safer therapy.

Gary L. Murray MD, FACC,FICA is Research Director, The Heart and Vascular Institute, Germantown, TN,USA, Co-Chairman Membership Committee, International Collage of Angiology, President and founder of The Association of Individualized Medicine & Therapies, Editor in Chief, The Journal of 21st. Century Cardiology. After Tulane School of Medicine and The University of TN Center of Health Sciences, he has managed to co-invent the Schaad- Murray RNA CAD and IPPA Myocardial Viability Tests, and publish several articles regarding new methods of CAD,CHF,HBP,AODM and CV autonomic assessment/management, despite a full-time private practice.

Professor Paul Crawford from the Institute of Mental Health at The University of Nottingham will speak about the project and campaign he led with Academy-award winning partners Aardman (Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep etc.) alongside partner universities, clinicians and charities to support young people’s mental health during the pandemic. The campaign is called What’s up with Everyone? and comprises 5 short Aardman animations co-created with young people for young people on the platform www.whatsupwitheveryone.com. The campaign introduced 5 new Aardman characters with stories addressing loneliness, perfectionism, competitiveness, independence and social media. Aimed at 17-24 year olds but not limited to this age group, the resource offers upstream information particularly for those facing the challenges of transition to college, university, training and the workplace. The campaign has proved hugely successful and marks a move to what Professor Crawford calls ‘creative public health’ whereby the creative industries join forces with mainstream mental health services, general practice and charitable bodies to advance the mental wellbeing of people, not least our young people. Dr. Gamal is a Consultant of obstetrics and Gynecology in Hamad Medical Corporation, Assistant professor in Weil Cornell Medical College, senior honorary lecturer in the university of Dundee in UK as well as the lead for undergraduate teaching lead for the medical school, Dundee University and Clerkship Director Qatar university. He has acquired extensive experience working in tertiary units and university hospitals in the United Kingdom and overseas. Dr. Boaz Lerner is a Professor of Machine Learning at Ben-Gurion University, where he also did his Ph.D. After Ph.D., he did research at Aston University and Cambridge University, UK. Lerner has been investigating, developing, teaching, and consulting in machine learning, undertaking many projects funded by, or in co-operation with, different agencies/authorities/companies. He has been a reviewer for many journals and conferences and has served on various conferences PCs. Lerner has supervised more than 50 graduate students and has published more than 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. I work in University Kebangsaan Malaysia as an Associate Professor in public health research and teaching. I have supervised at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate level, and have been the principal supervisor for several doctoral and Master students. I am interested in research related to family health, primary care and health intervention for youth, women and elderly care. I have completed my PhD from the University of Aberdeen in 2007 with a PhD thesis titled Determinant of unexplained stillbirth. Currently, I am involved in community health empowerment to improve health-seeking behaviour among youth on sexual and reproductive health. Having this training aims to enhance their understanding before entering into the marital and pregnancy stage with good understanding in preventing adverse events. As the youth is a potential economy generation asset, I have developed a training package to train youth in caring for the elderly. Competency training for the care of the elderly is a commercial area in our ageing country—a combination of empowering youth can help them in the entrepreneurship area for elderly care. I have published articles in journals and books related to my research field area and presented in many conference and seminar local and international.

Dr. Eduardo J. Simoes, is Chair, Dr. Stuart Wesbury Distinguished Professor and HMI Alumni Distinguished Professor, Department of Health Management and Informatics, University of Missouri School of Medicine (2011-current). Dr. Simoes holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the School of Medicine at the University of Pernambuco (Brazil) and is licensed as primary care physician by the Federal Council of Medicine of Brazil. He has a Master of Public Health from Emory University, a Master of Science in Community Health for Developing Countries, and a Diploma of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine for course taught in community health. Dr. Harold Komiskey graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin with a PhD in Pharmacology and a minor in Medical Science/Physiology. Dr. Peter Marghella is a Professorial Lecturer in Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness at The Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Dr. Dubytska is a tenured Assistant Professor at the Southern University of Baton Rouge in the Biology department. She received her MS degree from the Department of Biochemistry, Ivan Franko State University of L'viv, Ukraine. And she received her Ph. D in Genetics from the Institute of Cell Biology and Genetic Engineering of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine, Kiev, Ukraine. Then, she was accepted as an Assistant Professor to teach molecular biology and parasitology to medical students in Ivano-Frankivsk State Medical Academy (Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine). In 2003 she accepted a position as a Postdoctoral Fellow at New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY. For six years she was working first as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and then promoted to the Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Pathobiological Sciences, LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Her research focuses are to define the mechanisms that hosts invoke to protect themselves against pathogenic infection, and strategies used by pathogen to overcome those defenses. She has focused her work, for over 12 years, on understanding host-pathogen interactions, including host defense against extracellular and intracellular pathogens and molecular mechanisms associated with the ability of pathogens to survive inside of host cells. Her overarching research interest is in the mechanisms associated with the virulence of bacterial pathogens and for the development of strategies for protection and treatments against these pathogens. More specifically she is interested in examining bacterial virulence factors that include secretion systems and effector proteins, toxins and virulence genes and the host response to those factors.

Dr. Brian Littlechild is Professor of Social Work in the School of Health and Social Work at the University of Hertfordshire, UK. A qualified and registered social worker, he worked as a practitioner and manager in protecting children work, youth offending and in adolescent mental health and adult mental health settings before working in universities. He is currently research lead for Nursing and Social Work at the University of Hertfordshire. He is also Vice President, European Research Institute for Social Work, and Visiting Professor, University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. He teaches, has led 23 research projects, and carries out doctoral supervision/examining in the areas of children and families work, and mental health. He has presented over 100 papers at local, national and international conferences. He has been an expert member on a National Institute for England’s Health and Care Excellence (NIHCE) Guideline Development Group, and is an expert advisor to NICE. His publications include 32 refereed articles and 38 books/book chapters and online resources.

Dr. Sabah Mohammed research interest is in intelligent systems that have to operate in large, nondeterministic, cooperative, highly connected, survivable, adaptive or partially known domains. His continuous research is inspired by his PhD work back in 1981 from Brunel University (UK) on the employment of the Brain Activity Structures for decision making (planning and learning) that enable processes (e.g. agents, mobile objects) and collaborative processes to act intelligently in their environments to timely achieve the required goals. Having trained in medicine with a computer science PhD in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Dr. Mohammed is full Professor at the department of Computer Science at Lakehead University (Ontario Canada) since 2002 and core professor at the BioTechnology program at Lakehead. Dr. Mohammed efforts in establishing healthcare related programs at Lakehead are notable like the specialization Health informatics, BioTechnology and the Bioinformatics programs at Lakehead. With a research background in industry and academia, he has a strong international research reputation for his work on clinical decision support systems supporting remote areas, ubiquitous and extreme environments. Prior to his work at Lakehead University, Dr. Mohammed was the chair of three computer science departments at HCT, Philadelphia and Applied Science Universities. Dr. Jinan Fiaidhi is a full Professor of Computer Science and the Graduate Coordinator of the PhD program in Biotechnology at Lakehead University, Ontario, Canada since late 2001. She was the grad coordinator for the Lakehead University Computer Science MSc program for the period (2009-2018). She is also an Adjunct Research Professor with the University of Western Ontario. She received her graduate degrees in Computer Science from Essex University (PgD 1983) and Brunel University (PhD, 1986). During the period (1986-2001), Dr. Fiaidhi served at many academic positions (e.g. University of Technology (Asso. Prof and Chairperson), Philadelphia University (Asso. Dr. Václav Bunc, PhD earned from the Technical University Prague, professor in the Exercise Physiology on Charles University Prague Main topics: evaluation of physical fitness, exercise physiology, obesity reduction, functional and physical testing in laboratory and field, body composition, BIA methods, moving regimes for prevention in cardiac and obese patients. Dr. Sanabria's interests include primary liver tumors and liver regeneration, treatments for locally advanced liver and pancreas tumors, and patient/population outcomes. Dr. Sanabria grew up in South America where he obtained his M.D., a degree that subsequently was validated at the University of Toronto. During his stay in Toronto, he published more than 20 peer review papers and was part of the team that started the living related liver transplantation program, nowadays the most successful program of its kind in America. He was also part of the team that started the Mount Sinai Cancer registry for patients with familial polyposis, which has evolved to become today the Ontario Cancer Registry, the largest in Canada. He successfully started liver and pancreas transplant programs in Ohio, and he established a basic, translational and clinical research program at Case Western Reserve University, where he still has his laboratory and holds a faculty position.

Dr. Gomes has been a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner since June of 2018 who has worked in various settings consisting of seasonal, residential, outpatient, inpatient, and government facilities. Dr. Tanuja Bhandari, MD, MBA is a practicing Radiation Oncologist in Orange, CA. She is well-versed in Brachytherapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and Intraoperative Radiation Therapy (IORT). IORT employs a one-time radiation treatment during breast cancer surgery, eliminating the need for weeks of follow-up treatments. Dr. Nisha Sachdev is a public health consultant, strategist and senior clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience leading multi-million programs within governmental agencies, organizations and foundations to address social issues in underrepresented communities. With a focus on cross-collaboration with public and private partners, Nisha develops the capacity of organizations and agencies to design and implement high-impact, system-level policies and interventions locally, nationally and globally to reduce the social and health disparities experienced by children, youth and families. Nisha’s work includes serving as the Senior Director of Evaluation at the Bainum Family Foundation. In this role, Nisha built the foundation’s evaluation infrastructure to assess the foundation’s impact on early learning, school mental health, and food security initiatives. She also developed, launched, and staffed a $5 million School Mental Health initiative in partnership with district, national and federal agencies and schools that leveraged local and federal dollars to scaled research, practice and policy efforts expanding access to quality school mental health services and supports. Previously, her work included building and overseeing the evaluation for Washington, DC citywide and organizational initiatives. She was also instrumental in assisting the organization and the city in collecting indicators and making data-driven strategic decisions to increase the outcomes for children, youth, and families in the District using a collective impact approach. Nisha’s systems level work is complemented with her local non-profit experiences. Nisha served as Executive Director at Coaching for College and Founder of Breaking the Cycle, where she was responsible for creating and implementing annual strategic plans, managing program operations, and developing program evaluation systems to ensure quality and effective programming was being provided to youth from some of the most vulnerable areas in the city. Globally, Nisha has consulted with UNICEF and the Ministry of Health of Trinidad and Tobago where she was responsible for developing an adolescent health policy and evaluating a regional program promoting anti-violence. A/Professor Julia Marley is Principal Research Fellow of the Rural Clincial School of Western Australia and Principal Research Officer of the Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services. She has been conducting collaborative research into improving Kimberley Aboriginal health since 2006. Research is embeded into existing health services and includes Aboriginal people, health service providers, administrators, and policy makers as core members of the research team. Dr. Holly Blake is a Chartered Health Psychologist (CPsychol) with research expertise in workplace health and wellbeing in the public and private sector. She leads on national workforce evaluations, and has significant expertise in the design, delivery and evaluation of workplace health promotion interventions to promote both physical and mental health of employees. She has delivered workplace health interventions in organisations across the UK, as well as the Middle East and China. She is currently engaged in multiple COVID-19 response studies looking at the impacts of the pandemic on employee mental health in the NHS and private sector.

I am a medical microbiologist with Mastersin molecular pathology and expertise in Global health security preparedness and response. I have twenty years of experience in infectious disease diagnostics, having worked in clinical and reference laboratories, before broadening my experience to Global health. Since 2015, I have been supporting developing countries in Africa and Asia to respond to infectious disease outbreaks and to build laboratory systems, mostly employed by the WHO Health Emergencies Programme (WHE). In my current position, as Technical Officer in the WHE team in Cambodia, I coordinate the National laboratory response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In my previous roles as WHO Laboratory Coordinator in Sierra Leone and Liberia, I provided technical guidance on diagnostics for high-threat pathogens, including Ebola and Lassa Fever. I worked with multi-sectorial Ministries and international partners across the one health platform to build diagnostics capacity for viral pathogens and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Prior to joining WHO, I was employed as Specialist Scientist at the Irish Mycobacterial Reference Laboratory. I led translational research, validating and implementing innovative tools in TB Diagnostics, including epidemiological genotyping. In 2015, I was selected as a Support Expert for The European Reference Laboratory Network for TB which aims to strengthen TB diagnostics in Europe. Concurrently, I am pursuing a Doctorate of Public Health, through LSHTM which I aim to complete in 2022.My research has included an analysis of the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team and an exploration of GBV coordination mechanisms in humanitarian response in Lebanon.

Dr. Shoshana Berenzon studied for a bachelor's, master’s and doctorate in Social Psychology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She has been part of the National System of Researchers since 2006 and is currently a Level II researcher. Director of Epidemiological and Psychosocial Research at the Ramón de la Fuente Muñiz National Institute of Psychiatry. She has the appointment of Researcher in Medical Sciences "E" by the Coordinating Commission of the National Institutes of Health and High Specialty Hospitals. She is a professor in the graduate programs of the Faculty of Psychology and Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Dr. Mihaela Onofrei is Vice-Rector of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania, Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and a doctoral superviser in the field of Finance. Professor Anat Freund received her PhD from the University of Haifa, Israel,Faculty of Social Sciences,Department of Political Sciences in 2000. Her present and future academic activities include the following studies , in the area :The health and welfare beliefs of minority groups.Professor Anat Freund conducted a series of studies and published several articles on cultural factors related to barriers or attitudes that lead to barriers, in relation to undergoing screening.In order to assess the effect of a culturally-based intervention on health beliefs, she conducted studies which included two minority groups in Israel: Ultra-Orthodox Jewish women and Arab women.In addition, she has researched and published articles dealing with violence against health care staff. She received a research grant from the Israel National Institute for Health Policy and Health Services and a research grant from Maccabi Health Services.She has published more than 50 papers. Professor Anat Freund has been serving as a reviewer in leading scientific journalsin several health and human service journals.

Dr. Cheshin is a tenured Assistant Professor at the University of Haifa in the Human Services department. As an organizational psychologist his research focuses on social influence of emotions. His work on healthcare has dealt with anger displays towards medical staff, as well as remedies for violence in emergency department queues. He completed his BA at the University of Michigan, and graduate studies at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. His postdoctoral research was completed at the University of Amsterdam. Francesca Lecci is Associate Professor of Practice of Government, Health and Not for Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management. At SDA Bocconi, she is Director of the Executive Master in Management of Healthcare and Social Organizations (EMMAS) and Program Director of many post experience specialization courses and custom programs in healthcare management She conducted many research, training and consulting projects with businesses and public institutions operating in healthcare, government and cultural sector. Moreover, she worked with the most important multinational clients operating in the pharmaceuticals, hospitals and entertainment industry. Cristina Gomes studied medicine at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, a specialization in Public Health at the National School of Public Health of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, a master's degree in Population and Development at FLACSO México and a PhD in Population from the Colegio de México; nominated for the Marquis Who's Who in the World in 2011; has experience in research in the area of Population and Development, in public policies aimed at youth, elders, women, indigenous people, afro-descendants, in the areas of poverty, inequality, discrimination, racism, family, protection and social security; worked as Regional Advisor for the United Nations as Regional Advisor on Population and Development for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) (2006-2010). Since 1998 she has worked as professor and researcher at the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales, FLACSO-México.

I am a microbiologist investigating host-pathogen interactions in Buruli ulcer. I decided to focus my research on Buruli ulcer and took up a postdoctoral position in a hospital devoted exclusively to the care of Buruli ulcer patients located in a rural area of Benin. I first installed a molecular laboratory for the confirmation of Buruli ulcer by qPCR and taught the laboratory technicians the diagnostic method. This laboratory was also essential for my research activities dealing with the ecology of M. ulcerans and the pathophysiology of Buruli ulcer. I performed field studies to identify the environmental factors determining the incidence of Buruli ulcer in villages. Working closely with the medical staff, I acquired knowledge of the disease and its clinical features, patient care and wound healing. I was fascinating by the phenomenon of spontaneous healing, demonstrating that some humans can control M. ulcerans infection. I am now a team leader of a research laboratory focusing on the pathophysiology of Buruli ulcer and M. ulcerans ecology.

After my medical degree in 1997, I had the opportunity to open a Buruli ulcer center in Lalo, department of Couffo in Benin. From 1998 to 2003, my main challenges were to organize the management of Buruli ulcer patients in the Mono-Couffo region (detection, management, training of health staff and participation to research related to Buruli ulcer). At this time, little was known about Buruli ulcer. In order to improve the control of the disease, it was urgent to learn more about its epidemiology and treatment. With the support of the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM, Antwerpen, Belgium), I have started a research program with the possibility to start a PhD studies on the human and environmental factor related to Buruli ulcer. In 2003, I was appointed as the Manager of the National Buruli Ulcer Control Program in Benin. This position gave me the opportunity to develop the program both for control and research. In 2005, I was able to defend my PhD thesis at the University of Abomey-Calavi with the support of the ITM, Antwerpen. After seven years as Manager of Buruli ulcer control Program in Benin, I’m actually recruited by the Fondation Raoul Follereau as regional advisor for Buruli and leprosy control in francophone Africa. In addition to this position, I’m currently an associate professor in public health at the University of Abomey-Calavi and since 2016, the President of International leprosy Association.

Dr. Botshelo Rachel Sebola has worked as a Professional nurse, and a lecturer in a Nursing college teaching Social Sciences. Dr. Raeesa Moolla attained her PhD at the age of 30, at the University of the Witwatersrand, where she is now a tenured senior lecturer. Her research interests lie in hotspot monitoring and modeling of urban-scale air pollution and its impacts on human health; specifically related to VOC emissions and pollution from the transport sectors. Dr. Enoch Odame Anto (PhD) is recent PhD graduate from the Edith Cowan University, Australia, and currently works as a lecturer/Research Scientist at the Medical Diagnostics Department of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana and an Adjunct lecturer at the Edith Cowan University, Australia. He is a member of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC), Australian Institute of Medical Scientist (AIMS), High Blood Pressure Council Research of Australia (HPCRA), and International Federation of Placenta Association (IFPA). Centre for Precision Health, Australia. He was a keynote speaker at the World Preeclampsia Day in 2020. He was awarded a Distinguished Abstract for Scientific Excellence by the Academy Fellows of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC), USA in 2019. He was awarded the Edith Cowan University Research Medal and the School of Medical Health and Sciences Research Medal Recipient for the most outstanding research Thesis in 2020. His research interests are pregnancy and Childbirth, Preeclampsia, Adverse pregnancy outcomes, Placental pathology, Global Health (Cardiometabolic diseases). He has published more than 100 papers in journals, abstract proceedings of the international and national conferences, and University repositories.
