Professor Wong is currently Advisor (Environmental Science), The Education University of Hong Kong; and Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Geochemistry and Health (Springer Nature). Professor Wong served as the Coordinator of Central and North-East Asia of “Regionally based assessment of Persistent Toxic Substances”, and as a Panel Member (of three experts) of “Chemicals Management Issues of developing countries and countries with economies in transition”, both sponsored by UNEP/GEF, during 2001-2003, and 2010-2012, respectively. His research areas included “Environmental and health risk impacts of persistent toxic substances”; “Ecological restoration of contaminated sites”; and “Bioconversion of organic wastes”. He has published over 750 SCI papers and 32 book chapters, edited 25 books/special issues of scientific journals, and filed 7 patents. According to the List of World’s Top 2% Scientists (Stanford University, 2020), Professor Wong is ranked No. 6 (career-long), under Environmental Sciences in the world (Google Scholar- Total citations: 53,832, H-index: 118; Scopus- Total citations: 35,711, H-index: 96). In addition to his Ph.D. (Durham) Degree, he was awarded two higher Doctoral Degrees: DSc (Durham), and DSc (Strathclyde)in 1992 and 2004, respectively. He was awarded the Croucher Senior Fellow (Croucher Foundation, HK) in 1997; the Royal Society Visiting Fellow (Royal Society, UK) in 2000; EmeritusProfessor of Biology, Hong Kong Baptist University in 2013; Chang Jiang Chair Professor of Environmental Science (Ministry of Education, China) in 2014, the Milton Gordon Award for Excellence in Phytoremediation (International Phytotechnology Society) in 2016; Fellow of the Society of Environmental Geochemistry and Health (SEGH) in 2018; and Silver Medal (for Upgrading Food Waste as Fish Feeds) of the International Inventions (Geneva) in 2019.

Dr. Cesare Montecucco works at the discovery of factors and signals involved in the regeneration of the neuromuscular junction and at the clarification of the mode of action of the neuroparalytic toxins causing Tetanus or Botulism and of snake PLA2 neurotoxins. He has also researched in the Universities of Cambridge, Utrecht, and Costa Rica, the Institut Pasteur of Paris, and the EMBL of Heidelberg. He has studied the molecular and cellular pathogenesis of diseases caused by toxin-producing pathogenic bacteria (anthrax, botulism, tetanus, Helicobacter pylori) and by poisonous snakes and insects. Major discoveries were: a) the identification and characterization of the metalloprotease activity of the neurotoxins responsible for tetanus and botulism, b) the identification of their proteins targets (SNAREs) including sites of cleavage and mechanism of specific recognition, c) the metalloprotease activity and target of the anthrax lethal factor, d) the mechanism of action of two major virulence factors of H. pylori: VacA and NapA, e) the mechanism of action of the snake presynaptic PLA2 neurotoxins, f) the chemokine CXCL12 and a specific CXCR4 agonist are very powerful growth factors of the neuronal axons, g) identification of drugs that prevent botulism and a drug that promotes regeneration of the neuromuscular junction after damage. He is a member of several scientific boards and academies and has received several scientific prizes, including the Harvard Medical School Shipley Prize for Medicine 1993, the Biotech Prize 1998, the Feltrinelli Prize for Medicine 2004, the Redi Award 2009, the Ehrlich Prize for Medicine 2011 and the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award of the International Neurotoxin Association. He has published 260 experimental peer-reviewed papers, 87 reviews, hypothesis and position papers, and 3 books that received > 35000 citations with an H factor of 97.

Manjunatha Kini conducts basic and applied research on snake venoms and saliva of blood-feeding animals, both contain pharmacologically active proteins. He is an accomplished biochemist and established world leader in the field of toxins as well as in blood clotting (thrombosis and hemostasis). His main research focus is "From Toxins to Therapeutics", where he identifies novel bioactive proteins from venoms or saliva, determines their modes of action, and designs potential drug leads based on their structure. Venom toxins target cardiovascular and neuromuscular systems. He has published 240 research publications including 182 original articles, 40 reviews, and 18 book chapters. In addition, he also filed 50 patent applications. He edited two monographs “Venom Phospholipase A2 Enzymes: Structure, Function and Mechanism” (Sole editor, 1997, John Wiley, England) and “Toxins and Hemostasis: From Bench to Bedside” (Chief Editor, 2010, Springer, The Netherlands). He also edited five special issues for various journals.

Dr. Xiaoqi Liu is the current Chair and Professor of Department of Toxicology and Cancer Biology, Lucille P. Markey Endowed Chair in Oncology Research, Markey Cancer Center at University of Kentucky. Dr. Liu has a broad background in cancer biology, with specific training and expertise in signaling transduction, cell cycle regulation, DNA damage repair, and therapy resistance in the context of prostate cancer (PCa). Dr. Liu received his BS in chemistry at Peking University in 1991, and MS in Institute of Biophysics at Chinese Academy of Science in 1994. Dr. Liu received his PhD at Washington State University in 1999 by working on DNA repair of UV-induced DNA damage. Dr. Liu did his post-doctoral training at Harvard University by working on signal transduction in mitosis, particular polo-like kinase 1 (Plk1). Dr. Liu started his independent laboratory at Purdue University in 2006 by focusing on understanding the regulation of Plk1 in cancer cells. Dr. Liu has published 100 peer-reviewed research articles so far. Dr. Liu’s research program has been well funded by various agencies including NSF, ACS, and NIH. At this moment, Dr. Liu has four active R01s, all of which are prostate cancer-focused. In short, Dr. Liu has established his reputation as one of major contributors of the Plk1 field over the last 20 years. In 2018, Dr. Liu was recruited to University of Kentucky as Chair of Department of Toxicology and Cancer Biology.

Diana Anderson (H index 64) holds the Established Chair in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Bradford. She obtained her first degree in the University of Wales and second degrees in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Manchester. She has 550+ peer-reviewed papers, 10 books, has successfully supervised 32 PhDs, is an Editorial Board Member of 10 international journals. She is Editor-in-Chief of a book series on Toxicology for the Royal Society of Chemistry. She gives plenary and key note addresses at various international meetings. She is a consultant for many international organizations, including WHO, EU, NATO, TWAS, UNIDO, OECD.

Henry Spiller is the director of the Central Ohio Poison Center and former director of Kentucky Regional Poison Center with more than 35 years of active clinical and research experience. He is Board Certified in Toxicology by the American Board of Applied Toxicology, an elected Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology, and a Clinical Professor at Ohio State University, College of Medicine. He has worked with the CDC, USAID, WHO, and PAHO. He has more than 200 peer-reviewed publications in major journals in the fields of toxicology, pediatrics, and emergency medicine and more than 190 presentations at scientific meetings on various toxicological subjects in South America, North America, Asia, and Europe. Areas of interest include mechanisms of toxicity, clinical management of toxic patients, and a focus on translating bench findings to clinical practice.

Dr. Sikka received his Ph.D. from the Department of Pharmacology, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India, in 1978. He did his post-doctoral fellowship from 1979-1982 in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles where he obtained training in the field of protein-lipid interactions in cell membranes, protein purification, and functional incorporation into liposomes. In 1982 Dr. Sikka moved to the Urology section of the Department of Surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), as Urology Laboratory Research Director. Dr. Sikka joined the Tulane faculty in 1989 as Assistant Professor of Urology and Andrology Laboratory Director. He was responsible for setting up a CLIA-approved Andrology Clinical and Research Laboratory at Tulane Medical Center, catering to the needs of many infertility and sexual dysfunction patients. Dr. Sikka's current research focus is oxidative stress-related signal transduction pathways and gene expression involved in prostate tumorigenesis (BPH and cancer) and drug targeting. The Urology department has recently procured a Laser Capture Microscope (LCM) to microdissect specific and selective biological cells from various clinical samples. LEQSF has also recently funded the Department to acquire the latest DNA - microarray system for expression of specific genes (genomics), and their translational products (proteonomics). The lab routinely employs molecular biology, differential gene expression, suppressive subtractive hybridization, other cell biology, biochemical, and chemiluminescence techniques as well as xenograft and transgenic models of disease and in situ studies on human tissues approaches to address many questions as they relate to prostate tumorigenesis. Using a super-repressor I kappa B adenoviral delivery approach, the lab plans to evaluate the role of inhibiting the activation of the nuclear factor NF-kappa B in enhancing radio/chemosensitization and apoptosis of prostate tumor cells. Analysis of the expression and function of these genes should allow for a more in depth understanding of the processes controlling prostate tumor growth, invasion and metastasis. The ultimate aim is on developing new diagnostic tools and potential therapeutic applications using a gene therapy approach (pharmacogenomics).

João Paulo Teixeira, PhD in Medical Sciences, is Head of the Research Unit at the Environmental Health Department of the National Institute of Health, Porto Portugal. Currently, he is also Member-Elected of Executive Committee of the EUROTOX (Association of European Toxicologists and European Societies of Toxicology), Vice-President ofAP Tox (Portuguese Society of Toxicology), Coordinator of Toxicology Section of the SPF (Portuguese Society of Pharmacology) (SPF), and Coordinator of the Environmental and Laboratory Epidemiology Group of the ISPUP (Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto). In his active service to the scientific community, he worked, by invitation, as expert at the IARC/WHO (International Agency for Research on Cancer/ World Health Organization) panel for the evaluation of the carcinogenic risk of styrene exposure to humans and on other EU research evaluation committees. He hasbeen coordinating and participating in several international and national R&D project consortiums; served asassociated editor and guest-editor in different international journals;and acted as chair/co-chair and member in manyseveral international congresses. His main area of research is Toxicology, with a special interest in the field of occupational & environmental health, including on the interaction between genetic factors and exposure. José Eduardo Serrão, biologist, isfull professor in Federal University of Viçosa and Researcher fellowship from National Council of Research and Development. His research is focused in morphology and physiology of insects, including side-effects of pesticides.

Prof. Nadezhda S. Kudryasheva is a professor at the Institute of Biophysics, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Her main research interests are Spectroscopy, a structure of molecules, chemiluminescence, bioluminescence, physicochemical processes in biological systems, bioassays, toxic mechanisms, radiotoxicity, low-dose effects, hormesis, antioxidant activity, carbon nanoparticles, fluorescent proteins. Prof. Nadezhda is a member of the International Humic Substances Society (IHSS), coordinator of Siberian Sub-division, Russian Branch of Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC), member of the Scientific Council on Ecology, Russia, and expert of Russian Foundation for Basic Research.

Ornella Rossetto is Associate Professor of General Pathology at the Medical School of University of Padova, Italy. During her Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Pathology she participated to the discovery of the zinc-endopeptidase activity of tetanus and botulinum neurotoxins and identified the intraneuronal targets and specificity of these neurotoxins. She published 120+ peer-reviewed papers with 8700+ citations (H-index 46). She is Associate Editor of the international journal “Toxicon” and Committee member of the International Society of Toxinology (IST). Her main research focus is the molecular mechanism of action of botulinum neurotoxins at the neuromuscular junction and at the enteric nervous system. She has been collaborating for many years with clinicians who use botulinum toxin type A in the treatment of many human pathologies

Ahmed Mohammed Zheoat was born in Iraq, in 1973. He received his Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1996, and Master’s degree in pharmacology in 2012from Baghdad University/ College of Pharmacy, and obtained his Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology in 2019 from the University of Strathclyde, UK. Since 2020 he is a lecturer of pharmacology at Al-Manara College for Medical Sciences, Iraq. He is co-author of several publications. His research activity is focused on the isolation, identification, and biological evaluation of natural products from plants.

Liping Feng, MD's research has focused on understanding the mechanisms of pregnancy complications associated with placental development. These works are translated then to the clinical care of women through studies dedicated to identify risk factors and novel biomarkers for early prediction and prevention of adverse birth outcomes. Dr. Feng devotes her entire career to improving pregnancy outcomes through innovative research. Dr. Feng conducts both basic science/laboratory research, as well as participates in clinical studies. Her laboratory has focused on understanding the mechanisms of placenta-originated pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia and stillbirth, which are important causes of perinatal and neonates’ mortality and morbidity. Currently, she has three lines of investigation focused on the roles of inflammation/infection, cell aging, and environmental exposure in placental development and subsequent pregnancy complications. In addition, Dr. Feng has established an international collaboration in Global Women’s Health. She has affiliated with the Duke Global Health Institute (DGHI) and participates in DGHI research. She has an interest in DGHI education, and service or policy initiatives, including mentoring and teaching graduate and professional students on fieldwork and research.

Dr. Sheba MohanKumar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Veterinary Biosciences and Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Georgia. She teaches in the College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her veterinary degree from Madras Veterinary College, India, and went on to receive advanced degrees in Biochemistry and Neuroendocrinology from Kansas State University, USA. Her research focuses on neuroimmune-endocrine interactions. Her group investigates the interplay between stress and reproductive axes in the context of infection, obesity, and endocrine disruption using a variety of novel paradigms and state-of-the-art technology. Her laboratory demonstrated for the first time that perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS), a chemical that is added to many commercial products to retard flame and water, can activate the stress axis and disrupt estrous cyclicity in female rats. Her other studies have explored the effects of exposure to particulate matter on neuroendocrine functions. Dr. MohanKumar has received funding from the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, and private foundations for her work. She is on the editorial board of two journals and has published more than 45 papers in international journals. Her laboratory is currently studying the effects of prenatal exposures to low doses of plasticizing chemicals and their impact on behavioral, cardiovascular, reproductive, and metabolic outcomes.

Dr. Deepali Jat, Assistant Professor-Stage III Neuroscience Research Unit working with behavioral neuroscience, biochemistry (Free radical biology), therapeutic strategies for ageing and neurodegeneration using targeted antioxidant therapies in research Current research interest is to study neurodegenerative conditions in the zebrafish brain. Especially cerebellar degeneration is correlated with mitochondrial encephalomyopathy. Lindsey St. Mary is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at HWU, and current work involves investigations into the health and environmental risk following exposure to engineered nanomaterials (ENMs) through the use of various laboratory models (zebrafish, algae, daphnia) within the EU Horizon 2020 PATROLS project. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University (USA), Master’s degree in Toxicology from North Carolina State University (USA), and Ph.D. from Heriot-Watt University (UK). Previous work has included investigations of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and how the presence of TiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) altered PAH photochemistry and photoproduct formation, assessing immunotoxicity of inorganic arsenic (iAs) through suppression of the innate immune response, developmental toxicity of high-nitrogen compounds, silver/gold NPs, smoke dyes and utilizing larval zebrafish to study the ability of particular chemicals to prevent/mitigate T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) metastasis, and many other toxicological studies involving environmental contaminants. All previous and current research has exploited the dynamic zebrafish model. With nearly 12 years of experience utilizing this model, the research and techniques have been diverse; ranging from embryonic to adult investigations of toxicity, metastasis, and larval application as a biological probe to elucidate complex environmental chemistry mechanisms.

Dr. Roberta Carafais MSc in Biology and PhD in Ecology from Parma’s University (Italy). She is postdoctoral research fellow of Environmental Health and Risk Assessment of the Laboratory of Toxicology and Environmental Health (URV). She has expertise in chemical analysis, exposure assessment and risk characterization of POPs, PAHs and emerging pollutants. In addition, she owns some experience in food toxicology and biomonitoring. Dr. Roberta Carafa is actually PI in the project INSPECTION “IN Situ device for Pollutants dEteCTion In cOntiNuos” 2019PROD00113 financed by AGAUR and FEDER EMC/1434/2019 (2020-2022) at URV. She has background competencies integrating field sampling, laboratory ecotoxicological tests and ecological/ecotoxicological modelling as well as experience in project management at EU level, collaborating with public and private bodies. Previously she was Marie Curie post doc fellow and PI in the EU Project TOXMIC TECSPR17-1-0012 at URV; PI and supervisor of one Ph.D. student in the ‘RivHerb - Exploring mixture toxicity of herbicides in rivers and its treatment by ecotoxicological models’ project and one post-doc student in the METOX project “Integration and calibration of a biodynamic toxicity module for metals in the ecological model AQUATOX” project at Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). She was engaged in several European research projects: M3 (www.life-m3.eu/), Keybioeffects (MRTN-CT-2006-035695), ModelKey (http://www.modelkey.ufz.de). Dr. Lenka Applová is a postdoc researcher at the Department of Biochemical Sciences, FacultyofPharmacy in Hradec Králové, CharlesUniversity, CzechRepublic. She received MSc in Pharmacy in 2009-2014 and Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology in 2019 at the same institution. Currently, she is a member of the EFSA-CDN project (Efficiency and Safety Improvement of Current Drugs and Nutraceuticals: Advanced Methods – New Challenges) at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Her research is focused on cardiovascular system; during her PhD, she studied the influence of polyphenolic compounds and their metabolites on platelet activation and now she is a member of the Molecular and Cellular Toxicology Group focused on drug-induced cardiovascular toxicity, particularly the cardiotoxicity of anthracycline anticancer drugs

Hedi BEN MANSOUR Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology from Caen Normandy University France Full professor at Monastir University – Tunisia. Hedi Ben Mansour is a director of the Research Unit of Analysis and Process Applied to the Environment APAE- UR17ES32. He has received many awards, appreciations, and recognition for many international organizations such the award of the young Francophone researchers in Sciences and Medicine (Sao Paulo Brézil in 2013). Currently, he is a consultant at several international organizations including ARSCO, AUF… He is visiting professor of some European university and he holds life memberships of various international organizations and is an active participant in national and international scientific events. Currently Prof Ben Mansour is engaging in studying the investigation of causes and the consequences of water pollution by micro pollutants (plasticizers, pharmaceutical residues, textile dyes, endocrine disruptors, etc.). The originality of its work lies in the development and realization of chemical and biological techniques for a correct analysis of water as well as the design of processes for the treatment and recovery of treated water. Currently his research team is participating in four EU funded research projects. Hedi BEN MANSOUR has published more than 100 scientific articles with peer review and holds an h index of 16 has successfully supervised 10 PhDs, is an Editorial Board Member of 04 international journals.

Dr. Manorama Patri, neuroscientist, graduated from Ravenshaw College in 1987 and worked as an Associate Professor in Zoology in Ravenshaw University since 2011. From 2006-2008, she worked as the Post Doctoral Fellow in Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Kansai Center, Japan. She worked in the Central University of Hyderabad as Research Associate in the Department of Animal Science, 2008. She woeked as the Women Scientist (DST WOS “A”) from 2009-2011 in Prof. B. N. Mallick’s Neurobiology Laboratory, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her research interest mainly focuses on the interactions between microbiome and the central nervous system. The microbiome has a tremendous impact on human health. In particular, the gut microbiota may play a key role in many essential processes in health and disease via the activity of the gut-brain axis, possibly contributing to autism spectrum disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, depression, and anxiety disorder. Gut microbes may also be involved in nociception, complex host behaviors, and brain development. Now she has published more than 40 international research papers and compiled 10 volumes of her collected books and got more than 06 items of awards. In addition to the National Outstanding Contributor and the DST Women Scientist Award, most awards to her were for the Science and Technology success. She was selected as an executive member of Indian Academy of Neuroscience (IAN) during 2016-18, as member of Life Science Board in 2016, as an Academician of the Odisha Bigyan Academy since 2001.

Hari Prasad Joshi is a Ph.D. candidate at the department of neuroscience, faculty of medicine, nursing and health science, Alfred Hospital, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. He has completed his master's from the Department of Neurosurgery, CHA University, South Korea, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Nepal. He has published over 12 peer-reviewed journal articles, and his main research areas are spinal cord injury, intervertebral disc degeneration (IVD), multiple sclerosis, and neuropathic pain. He has presented his research works at many renowned international neurological conferences. During his masters, he worked with Prof. In-bo Han, one of the leading neurosurgeons in Korea. Additionally, he worked with him as a research assistant for two years. He has won many distinguished scholarships during his academic carrier. He has given a scientific talk at many national and international conferences and received awards. At present, he is doing preclinical trials in many novel drugs to treat Progressive MS.

Sixteen (16) years of experience as a forensic chemist at the Department of Chemistry Malaysia (an ANSI Accreditation Board accredited laboratory). My scope of expertise covers Forensic and Clinical Toxicology, Pharmaceutical Products Analysis, Analytical Chemistry as well as Proficiency Testing in Biological Specimens Schemes. My duties include receiving, analysing, issuing forensic reports and testifying in courts on toxicology cases for poisons and drugs under the allocation of Criminal Procedure Code (399 CPC). The scope of toxicology analyses includes drugs and metabolites, pesticides, heavy metals, volatile substances, gases, anions, miscellaneous substances as well as pharmaceutical products. The toxicological cases include high profile cases (international and local cases) on murder, poisoning, sudden death, man vehicle accidents, fire as well as several outbreak cases. Also, cases related to Malaysia Royal Armed Forces that specifically testified in the Marshal Court as well as cases related to confiscated pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. My other responsibilities include giving talks/lectures and seminars related to forensic toxicology and analytical chemistry to postgraduate students, law enforcement agencies and others, also giving advice/consultation in handling forensic toxicology casework to law enforcement agencies and legal fraternities. As a deputy technical manager of the Toxicology Division, I am directly involved in handling and managing the technical issues as well as the laboratory management system.

El Mahdi Redouane is currently a PhD researcher in Ecotoxicology and Environmental Microbiology at Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakesh, Morocco. El Mahdi specializes in naturally-occurringtoxins with special focus on cyanobacterial toxins; their adverse impact on soil-plant systems,related human health risk and environmentally-relevant strategies of bioremediation. El Mahdi published 6 papers themed on bioremediation of cyanotoxins in soil and aquatic ecosystems in international journals, and collaborates in an international research project in environmental toxicology alongside Portugal and Spain to assess the health risk related to cyanotoxins exposurevia contaminated agricultural crops.

Ana Cristina De la Parra-Guerra is a Biologist with a master's degree in biology and a Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology. She's a teacher at the University of Atlántico-Colombia. She is a member of the Biodiversity of the Colombian Caribbean research group. She is a researcher in the field of ecotoxicology, effects of new contaminants using the Caenorhabditis elegans biological model. These studies make it possible to evaluate the effects of these pollutants once they reach the environmental matrices and subsequently the possible exposures in humans. Dr. De la Parra conducts basic science / laboratory research as well as participates in research project formulations. Currently, she has an interest in toxicology education, including mentoring and teaching graduate and professional students about fieldwork and research.

Dr. Gehad Mekky have graduated from the faculty of Science, Zagazig University. And because i was the first on my class, I was appointed as a teaching assistant and got a scholarship to study a master's degree in Physiology. After getting my master, i have started my PhD; my project was to investige the augmenting anticonvulsant effect of micro and nanoparticle magnesium compound on valproate against pentylenetetrazol-induced convulsion in rats. Because i am very interested in science and research and we do not have the facility for the new technology in my interest scope, i applied for many competitive scholarships and got one from my government for two years also I got accepted as a research fellow at Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative medicine under supervision of Dr. Anthony Atala. At the WFIRM I have participated in many projects: 1- developing and using 3D brain organoid for disease modeling and as model for drug and toxicity screening, 2- using Mesenchymal Stem Cells-Derived Exosomes as novel delivery system to deliver immunotherapeutic agents and large proteins through blood-brain-barrier for treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, 3- the role of MSc in the improvement of functional outcomes after spinal cord injury, 4- Stem Cell Therapy in Necrotizing Enterocolitis. Then i returned back to Egypt to defend My PhD in December 2020. Now i am searching for a good lab to start my postdoctoral training in regenerative medicine, neuroscience or cancer biology.

Dr. Ramovatar Meena presently works as Asst Professor, at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. He did his master's in biotechnology from Marathwada Agriculture University, Parbhani, and Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences with nanotoxicology as a specialization, from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India in 2014. Later he did his post-doctoral studies under renowned scientist, Prof Paulraj R from the same institute, where he worked extensively on the assessment of behavioral aspects and neurotoxicity of nanomaterials. Dr. Meena has published more than 52 papers in various international journals with a citation number greater than 721 times. One of his monumental papers on the effects of cell phone radiation on the brain is cited more than 1550 times in the last five years. He is the recipient of awards and grants from both national and international funding agencies. Dr. Meena is currently involved in the Hazards and risk assessment of nanomaterials as well their pharmaceutical applications.

Atheer Zgair is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy, University of Anbar, Iraq. Atheer has completed his BSc in Pharmacy from The University of Baghdad and MSc in Pharmacology from the The University of Anbar, Iraq. He has awarded PhD in Clinical Pharmacokinetics from the School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham, UK. Atheer teaches Physiology, Pharmacology, Biopharmaceutics, and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring. Dr Zgair is an experienced researcher with demonstrated research activities in drug delivery, intestinal lymphatic transport, pre-clinical animal studies, and drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK). Dr Zgair has authored and co-authored multiple research articles in international peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of the editorial board in Al-Anbar Medical Journal since 2018.

Dr. Marcela Galar Martínez is a Mexican researcher, with studies in Industrial Pharmaceutical Chemistry, a Master's Degree in Toxicology, and Doctorate in chemical-biological Sciences. She is a professor and researcher at the National School of Biological Sciences of the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico. Dr. Galar-Martinez directs the Laboratory of Aquatic Toxicology, where several research projects are carried out to understand the mechanisms of damage involved in the toxicity of metals and emerge pollutants drug-like on hydrations, as well as evaluating the ecotoxicological risk that the decontaminants produce to the health of both humans and aquatic ecosystems, using biomarkers of oxidative stress, geno, to and embryotoxicity, as well as behavioral tests. Dr. Galar-Martinez is a member of the National System of Researchers, level II, of the National Council of Science and Technology in Mexico. She has directed 23 research projects and written more than 77 scientific articles in JCR journals. Her research work about the toxicity produced by pollutants in freshwater bodies led her to become part of the Madin Dam Basin Commission, establishing an important link between the scientific community, society, and decision-makers in that water body.

Dr. Kenneth Watters Studied medicine at Trinity College Dublin and post-qualification trained in internal medicine and laboratory medicine. He has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 42 years and is experienced in drug development, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, quality assurance with extensive experience in risk management, minimisation and avoidance. In the area of “Risk Management” he has worked with small and large molecules including h-erythropoietin, anti-rejection medicines in transplantation, thalidomide analogues and bio-similar medicines. And has led teams in drug development and post approval “rescue” when toxicological issues developed with a drug or device. This has included presentations at scientific meeting with clinical colleagues and medicines regulatory agencies which includes the: FDA, EMA, National Agencies in Europe, Australia, Japan and South Africa. He continues to have a clinical interest in diabetes and endocrinology and is now a Senior Clinical Fellow in a Diabetes centre in London.

Dr. Andleeb Khan (Ph.D.) is Assistant Professor in Jazan University, Saudi Arabia. She has completed her doctorate from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India in Toxicology with specialisation in natural and active constituents from plants for prevention of Alzheimer’s Disease. She has a teaching and research experience of more than ten years in neurodegenerative disorders and their prevention with medicinal plants, their active principles and nanoformulations. Her accomplishment at academics in Master course is outstanding and was able to get the Gold medal, the highest achievement for the topper of this course. She has published scores of research publication in national and international journals and contributed many book chapters with international publishers including Springer Nature and Academic Press (Elsevier). She is the editor of a book with Elsevier. She is also the Editorial board member and reviewer of various international journals and is the principal investigator of some significant projects on neurodegenerative diseases and their prevention. She has received many awards, appreciations and recognitions for her services to the science. She holds life memberships of various international organisations and is an active participant in national and international scientific events. Currently, Dr. Khan is engaged in studying the molecular mechanism of Alzheimer's disease, Ischemic stroke, Parkinson’s Disease and their prevention by various active principles from natural sources and nanoformulations.

Dr. Djamshed A. Abdushukurovis MS in Nuclear Physics and Ph.D. in the Instruments and Methods of Experimental Physics. He is a leading researcher at the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology and S.U. Umarov Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. For more than 10 years he has been dealing with the problems of processing and interpreting databases on elemental hydro- and geochemistry, and first of all, with toxic metals in aquatic systems of rivers and lakes. He is the author of over 200 publications, including 9 books and monographs. Under his supervision, 5 graduate students defended their PhD theses. Currently, he is studying the influence of toxic metals produced by mining enterprises on the ecology of the environment in the mountainous regions of Tajikistan.

Marisa Freitas is a Professor at the Department of Environmental Health, School of Health, Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ESS-P.Porto) and Researcher at Blue Biotechnology and Ecotoxicology Group, Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research (CIIMAR). She is graduated in Environmental Health (ESS-P.Porto), holdsa MSc in Toxicology and Environmental Contamination (ICBAS-University of Porto) and a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Technology (FCUP-University of Porto). Her main research interests are focused in the toxicology of harmful algal blooms, especially in the assessment of its direct or indirect impacts on aquatic and agricultural systems and consequently on public health (considering the via food chain). Currently she is researcher in the National project MOREBIVALVES (02/SAICT/2017 – nº 031762) and in the European project TOXICROP (RISE Project ID: 823860). She is author/co-author of 16 publications in international peer reviewed journals, 1 book chapterand several oral communications/poster presentations in international scientific conferences.

Dr. Leo Bey Fen is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya (UM) and a research fellow at Nanotechnology and Catalysis Research Centre, UM. She obtained her PhD from the London Centre for Nanotechnology (LCN), Imperial College London (UK). Currently, she is a consultant at the Electron Microscopy Services, Central Unit of Advanced Research Imaging, UM. Her research focuses on the effect of physicochemical properties of engineered nanomaterials on their stability as well as their toxicity with in vivo or in vitro models. Many of her peer-reviewed papers on the topics including nanomaterials synthesis and characterisation, nanotoxicology, biosensors, etc. have been published in high impact journals. Moreover, the first-authored paper ‘The Stability of Silver Nanoparticles in a Model of Pulmonary Surfactant’ that has been published in the ES&T and noted as a science highlight in the UK Diamond Light Source Annual review. Dr. Leo serves as a technical committee for ISO Standard &OECD certification for Products containing Nanomaterials in OECD EHS programmes. Moreover, she is an IKM technical committee member (ISO/TC 229 working group on Health, Safety and Environment relevant to Nanotechnologies). Besides, Dr. Leo also serves as a reviewer for scientific papers including Scientific Reports (Nature), ACS Applied Nano Materials, ACS Sensors Aquatic Toxicology, RSC Advances, Analytical Chemistry, CSBJ etc. Her research group had established collaboration between UM, MIMOS, Imperial College London, top-class research groups in National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI) and Leeds University in the UK; toxicology group from New Jersey, US and Diamond Light Source at Oxfordshire

Dr. Abhishikta Ghosh Roy is an Anthropologist, with Anthropological Survey of India, a premier research Institute under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, having obtained her Masters of Science in Anthropology from the University of Calcutta with National Merit Scholarship. She continued her research with the prestigious Junior Research Fellowship offered by the Ministry of Culture and was awarded a Ph.D. Degree by the University of Calcutta for her research on Breast Cancer, the first of its kind from West Bengal, India. She has long-term research experience in Cancer Genetics. Her extensive research interests include Breast Cancer of females and Male respectively. She focused on how the environment interacts with Genetic Variants to influence susceptibility to Hormonal Cancers. Dr. Ghosh Roy has contributed to GenBank, NCBI with novel mutations having disease associations. Her laboratory work intends primarily on the discovery and characterization of Genetic Biological Markers to assess disease susceptibility in human cancers. Dr. Ghosh Roy’s research interests include Biological Anthropology in general with a special focus on Medical Genetics, Forensic Anthropology, Public Health with reference to genes, Population Genetics, Cancer Biology. Her varied research interest in Palaeopathology of skeletal remains and ancient DNA is on the line. She has her research articles published in various International Journals of repute. Her noteworthy works were presented in various seminars in India and abroad including a recent one in Rome, Italy. She holds membership in editorial boards of many reputed journals. In the journey of her research, she bagged in many honors and awards. She holds lifetime membership with many prestigious organizations of India and abroad. Recently she was awarded the Best Paper Award at Bali, Indonesia, and received the Young Researcher Award by InSC, India.

Prof. Dr. Anil Batta is presently professor & Head with senior consultant in Govt. Medical College, Amritsar. He did his M.B.B.S. and M.D. in Medical Biochemistry from Govt. Medical College, Patiala in 1984 and 1991, respectively. His research interest is mainly in clinical application especially cancer and drug de-addiction. He has supervised more than 25 M.D., M.Sc. and Doctorate researches and published more than 130 international research papers. He is the chief editor of America’s Journal of Biochemistry. He is also working as advisor to the editorial board of International Journal of Biological and Medical Research. He has been deputed member Editorial Board of numerous International & National Medical Journals of Biochemistry. He has also been attached as technical advisor to various national and international conferences in Biochemistry. He has been attached as hi-tech endocrinal, genetics and automated labs of Baba Farid Univ. of Health Sciences, Faridkot. He has chaired various sessions in the Biochemistry meets. He has been designated as member Editorial Board of various in US and other European Courtiers. He is also involved in various research projects at Govt. Medical, Amritsar. He has done super specialization in Drug-de-addiction from PGIMER, Chandigarh.

Dr. Nemat Ali is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Ali earned his master and a Ph.D. degree in Toxicology from Hamdard University, New Delhi, India. Dr. Ali has qualifiedvarious national-level examinations. Dr. Ali’s research interest is to understand the molecular mechanism of chemically induced hepatocarcinogenesis and chemotherapy-induced organ toxicity and their prevention by naturally occurring compounds and their active form. After his Ph.D., Dr. Ali worked as guest faculty in Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. After that, he joined the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry, College of Medicine, University of Kentucky,USA, to perform his post-doctoral research. He was involved in studying the role of small GTPase in various diseases. Dr. Ali has published more than 35 research articles in reputed international journals.

Dr. Narendra Pamidi works as a faculty at Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia. He has completed his Master of Medical Anatomy and Ph.D. in Diabetes and Neuroscience from Manipal University. Dr. Narendra has a broad range of teaching and research experience as an Assistant Professor & Senior Lecturer in various medical schools in India & Malaysia. His research expertise includes creating sustainable obesity and diabetic animal models for short- and long-term experimental procedures, analysis of biochemical markers and blood parameters (Oxidative stress, metabolic, stress, BDNF), microscopic analysis of human body tissues, molecular and gene expression profile studies. He has published more than 60 research papers, case series in various peer-reviewed indexed journals. Dr. Narendra is successful in securing various internal and external research grants (FRGS, Malaysia) in the research areas of diabetes & neuroscience. His main research focus is on the therapeutic use of environmental enrichment exposure on the diabetic and stressed brain.

Dr.Seyed Mohammad Sadegh Mirahmadi is currently a senior year general medicine student at Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. Topics he has studied include urology, surgery, and molecular fields in physiology. He has 5 articles in these fields that have been published in various journals. Her studies include breast cancer in women, skin manifestations in CKD patients, and physiological topics in animal studies. Ongoing studies also include topics such as urology and nephrology

Hadeer N. Abuwarda is a research assistant at the Molecular Genetics Lab at the Islamic University of Gaza. Previously appointed as Teaching Assistant in the Department of Biochemistry. She has earned a master's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences after receiving an IsDB M.Sc. scholarship. Hadeer is interested in the epigenetic regulation of cancer. She is also concerned with investigating the influence of environmental factors (pesticides and pollen) on the induction of aneuploidy in human PB lymphocyte cultures and recently published a scientific paper in this field in an international journal.
